habs-24
I'll be at the game. I hate being at games where we lose much more than I hate watching us lose on TV, so we better win! well the only difference is your paying to see them loose, other than that a loss is devastating no matter where you are
fourtrax
My optimistic side is predicting a 4-1 Habs win with Kovalev scoring two (one on the PP), AK46 and Saku registering the other goals, and Markov collecting two assists on the night. habsgal
If we get our bread 'n butter going, meaning the PP close to where it was in the last two years, we should do fine. We have to bury our opportunities and go to the net hard. Here's hoping for a new start in a new month. GO HABS GOOOOOOOOOOO!
357908_1475251331
looks to me this morning like we're in for a mauling. hands of stone undo the day. hopefully by 7 things will start to perk up, but i'm not too optomistic. read: returns from injuries=some rust, no commonality in spreading sticks around arenas, contract eyes, lively boards don't help when you miss the net. Jason-Lorette
Yet another game that they should win...they need to start putting up some solid efforts against some of the 'weaker' teams. What are they gonna do with Matt D. if Tanguay comes back, send him back down? Jason GO HABS GO!
HABFANDOG
they need to get some line consitency going out there. a good effort from a weaker team would be a step in the right direction. get some chemistry going & the rest will follow

scottyg92
Carbonneau said he will ask injured defenceman Mike Komisarek to work behind the bench for a second straight game. Assistant coach Doug Jarvis is back home in Brantford, Ont., where his father is reported to be very ill. Whew Komi behind the bench once again! I love it! Best of luck to Doug Jarvis's father though, I hope he gets better. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!
maximus123
Lines from RDS : Tanguay - Plekanec - Kostopoulos A. Kostitsyn - Koivu - D'Agostini Higgins - Lang - Kovalev Begin - Lapiere - Laraque I'm surprised to see Latendresse out, that guy is on a very short leash, I still tought he was working and could have played with Plekanec. Nice to see Andrei with Koivu. Hopefully they came out with a win, Coach K is undefeated so that bodes well

Nice to see Andrei with Koivu. Hopefully they came out with a win, Coach K is undefeated so that bodes well could still be hurt but my guess is this: They want D'Agostinit to get a real taste of what it's like to play in the big league. He will probably be sent down very soon. Give him a couple games with the big club then watch him work his butt off in Hamilton so he can come back for another stay. Laraque needs to get his legs under him and get back into a rythmn of playing every so often. He has been out for a week? 2 weeks? time to shake the rust off. Oh no! Tanguay isn't playing with Koivu Carbo is most likely doing to Tanguay like he did to Higgins. Bring the injured player back in and start him off on the 3rd line he will be on the 1st in no time. leafs_rock_go_mccabe
I am disappointed that Guillaume isn't in the lineup tonight. I thought he was doing well this season, but has been out because of an apparent injury or as a healthy scratch for 4 games now. Sergei's benching I can understand, but Guillaume? Despite not really caring for Laraque this season, hopefully he provides some motivation against a weak Atlanta team that might resort to goonery as a means to an end. Also, Tanguay, Plekanec, and Kostopoulos? What. The. Heck?

CanadianMike
I am not a fan of #84, but I don't get why he isn't playing. I am a big fan of #74, but can understand why the benching. He is in Carbo's doghouse, and I wonder if he will get a chance to get out of it anytime soon. oh well GO HABS GO!!! watch out for Kovalchuk (O'By not playing makes me ) I'll be at the game. I hate being at games where we lose much more than I hate watching us lose on TV, so we better win! I hear ya! I am going to the game on Thursday!! FINALLY Hope you leave the bell centre with a huge smile tonight.

Hopefully they came out with a win, Coach K is undefeated so that bodes well i don't like those lines (i don't think tanguay with pleks will be effective) but thankfully i'm not the coach. why does everyone assume lats is being benched? i don't think he's done anything to warrant a benching so i believe he hasn't fully healed. do we even know what the injury is? and...if habs management is "protecting him from the humiliation" of a benching by claiming he's injured...i might lose it. Flunky
Montreal has traditionally had Atlanta's number, and with Kovalchuk in the Thrasher's fourth line doghouse, we should be able to pencil this one into the victory column. R4M2K
Kosto on the 1st line means all the other shufflings Carbo has done so far are not as effective as they should be. Might as well try it, it can't hurt. Besides, it's not as if we were playing the Wings... Oh wait, when we DO play the Wings, we play like a team that is focused on the goal to achieve (to win) and we put some effort in it. Let's hope the boys learn the lesson and get the win tonight, it doesn't matter if it's Atlanta or any other team. Go Habs Go !!! PS : Could anyone explain me why the hell does Laraque ASK before fighting anyone ? As if the game was a blowout or anything ? Can't he just grab someone and kick his "derriere" if he disrespects one our players ? Or is he too scared about the repercussion from the league ? What's the worst that can happen ? That he misses some games ? Yeah, big deal. Now Komi out for a month, THAT wouldn't be good. Wait.... PS2 (not the gaming system) : Sorry for the bad word, it wasn't on purpose !
