Kubby31
Sergei is a healthy scratch tonight. As he should be,atta boy carbo. Go habs...
habs-24
Lines from RDS : Tanguay - Plekanec - Kostopoulos A. Kostitsyn - Koivu - D'Agostini Higgins - Lang - Kovalev Begin - Lapiere - Laraque I'm surprised to see Latendresse out, that guy is on a very short leash, I still tought he was working and could have played with Plekanec. Nice to see Andrei with Koivu. Hopefully they came out with a win, Coach K is undefeated so that bodes well Gui is a 21 year old kid who needs to show like Sergei why he deserves to be in this lineup everynight, neither have shown it consistently
habs-24
well I don't like the lines but then again im not a coach...I really love andrei with koivu though it is about time carbo tryed that....I would have preferred kovy with pleks and tanguay to see what they can do but i guess carbo is waiting for kovy and langs chemistry to click again....love laraque back in the lineup despite what anyone else says...One thing that angers me though is kostopolous on the first two lines! It has to be the dumbest move ever...he is a grinder not a scorer so play him where he should play..I mean I love the guy but he has no offensive talent and and IMO he makes it harder for whatever offensive line he is on to score. But we'll see what happens GO HABS GO On a side note i'd like to say that i hope sergei and guy(if hes not injured) should be in next game. I thought guy has been playing good lately and i'm not anywhere near his biggest fan but I give credit where credit is due.I do understand sergei sitting as he took some very selfish penalties(one resulting in a goal) but I just have a feeling that if given the chance next game he'll explode Sergei needs to play consistent and smart like he did last year, no good to show up for one game and then be useless the next 2 weeks Can someone enlighten me on why Sergei is in Carbo's doghouse? I must have missed something... JL i think you have missed alot lol

thefooligan5
These lines have me scratching my head again. But then again, I certainly didn't like the lines for the start of last game and the habs walked away with a win so I'm more willing to wait and see what happens this game. I would like to see D'Agostini get on the score sheet this game. I also hope to see Tanguay get right back into the swing of things. Although it will definately be different playing with Pleks I think he'll be able to bring some flash to this line. I can't say I'm as certain about a win this game as some others are (See: 3-0 loss to Washington) but I'm hopeful we'll see a continuation of the work-ethic and energy the boys have been building over the last 4 games or so. fourtrax
Is he being benched tonight? I'm talking about sergie. Yup, SK74 is on the bench, and rightly so, after his performance on Saturday.

FirstStar
Don't know what to think about tonight's game. Could go either way, obviously we have to shut down Atlanta's offense. Imo, best way to do that is to pair up Kosto against Ilya (Kovalchuk), he has a short temper and gets stupid penalties. If he spends his time in the penalty box, he won't be scoring and it'll give the Habs time to practice their PP. Can't expect Tanguay to be sharp tonight, good call to take him off the 1st line until he gets going. Kovy has to pick it up, Andrei will be fine if he keeps up the good work and Price has been strong. Let's hope hedberg doesn't have one of his stellar games, better yet, I hope the Habs don't make him look like an all-star goalie.

habs-24
ATL has a 3-6-2 road record, they have allowed 82 goals against... 21 more than the Habs thrash also have the worst PK in the league, a chance for us to gain some confidence on the PP
