After the last game against New York, i couldn't see Carbo changing the lines, unless he decides to sit breezer for Ob, that's one change I could see happening. I also believe that Sergi may be headed towards Hamilton, but none the less, Price will get the start tonight as confirmed by Habs inside and out. Tonight really looks like a good match up, no Brodeur means better chances for the habs! lets hope Laps and Begin can continue their dominating ways !!

Go habs Go!

I'm sure he knows that;he just has this notion/superstition that if he predicts a foolish outcome we have a better chance of winning. ;) Surely you've noticed by now that he predicts a huge loss for every game?....Kind of like Eklund in that if you make enough silly predictions, eventually you'll get one right!:rolleyes: ...Sorry miniko,I didn't mean to expose your plan. :D

I must admit,he had me there

I hope to see Price play this game.

Same as i. Go habs...

Would kinda make sense, why mess with the line up at this time when they seem to have found thier groove The old saying,if it's not broken, why fix it, :D

I would disagree, no matter how good you are change can alwys be a positive thing. If you can find a way to upgrade your team you do it.

Team make trade deadline deals even if their team is winning, so whats the difference in plugging in a player from the pressbox?

devils are playing well lately but if we can put together a game like yesterday against the rags (still savouring that one), we'll win :) !

i like how the rookie d'ags and the 4th line are influencing and pushing the whole team. skating like hell, playing defensively responsible, on the puck all night, going hard to the net, making smart plays (hey, laraque can play some hockey). i love it.

ak46 and markov are finding their grooves, making beauty plays all over the ice. kovy is a nano-second from getting his timing on. we're actually scoring goals again!

nj is a very good team however, so habs will need to bring the full focus and energy to the task cuz it ain't christmas yet.

there is no christmas in this league

Here's the deal... Devils are alot smarter defensively than us, however, they can't match speed with us so the trick will be to get some early offense. When the Devils have an offensive deficit to climb, they're usually going to lose because of their sit back trap style. Thats how we played them last year, mirror their trap and get into their zone safely when possible to score. They never know what to do when teams play them like that. BUT, if we can crack their defense and forecheck on them like we did against the Rangers than by all means do it but the Dmen will have to very extremely picky about when and where they pinch in on the forecheck. Don't get caught on odd man rushes against them because they are very opportunistic on those.

GO HABS GO!!

id take my chances in a gun fight with them, we have better slingers lol

I guess i'm just looking at our game of as late, call it a slump or what ever.

Just seems what is working at this time with the benching of a few players, carbo makes some line changes of as late and somethings clicking, and the wins have been coming which has been a good thing, that's all.

Go habs, what ever it takes :P

Some notes on the Devils

6-4-1 road record

68 goals for, 10 less than us

62 goals against, 5 less than us

Their PP is weaker than ours believe it or not, they run at a 13% clip

Pat Elias has 13pts last 7 games

.... come on over, Mats Sundin!! :D:lol: (I'm half-joking, half-quite-serious ;) )

Here's to the Habs having another good game tonight -- it's all about heading up ice (and back) together.

It is the first time in 42 games that Brodeur won't be in net vs the Canadiens, CRAZY!

Lou's arrogance finally comes back to bite him.

You have a 36 year old goalie and your not even trying to find a replacement via the farm, what is he thinking Marty was going to be there until he was 45?

According to hockeysfuture, the only half-decent goalie prospect in their system, Jeff Frazee is projected a career AHL'er at best.
