Johnny_rudeboy
I am glad they snapped their 3 game losing streak win a 5-2 win over Grand Rapids. Desjardins was in net for the win after Denis allowed 5 goals in each of the last 2 games. Cedric's record is actually 3-3-1 as one loss was in OT. Hopefully they can continue and beat the Marlies for the 3rd straight time this season.

js2
Goaltending lost this one big time. I believe it was the tying goal(5-5) that was scored from center ice. It was almost like that Toskala goal last season except for where it was shot. Desjardins was always trying to play the puck behind the net and everytime he did he ended up fumbling it and giving it away where he would have to scramble back to the crease. Aubin left the game with what looked like a concussion from a fight. He got socked hard and went down and the guy gave him one more good one while he head was on the ice. He had to be helped off the ice. Also, I believe Chipchura left the game early in the 3rd as I didn't see him on the ice for the last 15 minutes or so. Also, just over 1800 stuffed animals were thrown on the ice after the first goal.
BFD
I think Aubin might have hurt his ankle or leg when he fell in the fight. Chipper hurt his groin, hopefully it's not serious.

A lot of strange goals......our second goal was cheap, banked in of a Marlies' leg, they got one on a shot that bounced off the side of Desjardins head! The tying goal was weak. Too bad because we had a good sized and enthusiatic crowd.......they probably still enjoyed the game as it was sloppy but entertaining, What a way to lose on a penalty shot in overtime!!!!! I wasn't sure the call was deserved. Toy toss is always fantastic......a great collection of toys and very early in the game.

Johnny_rudeboy
Hamilton won't get playoff experience if they don't fix their goaltending situation. That's for sure. Neither goalie looks sharp right now. There is no excuse to lose a game when leading 5-2; especially when facing 20 shots in the whole game.
