habsolute-pp1
Here's a picture that I made up that I think describes Lucic to a "T"... What do you guys think?
JHaul
haha, not bad. And to add something to the coversation.. I REALLY can't stand this kid, going back before this season's komisarek debacle. He's just always skating around with that Spezza-like smirk on his face and that really grinds on me. I can't wait till someone lays a good beating on him and maybe teaches him some respect.
Rocket-1
My cousin from Boston told me that at the beginning of the year he said in the news paper that he wouldn't mind fighting Laraque eventually, he sure chicken out when it was time to do it. thefooligan5
Hes nothing but a thug.. Not really going to ever be that good of a player.... You're kidding right? The first second he wasn't covered by Laraques last game he scored. He is going to be an absolutely fantastic player and an even better foe for us fans of Les Canadiens. Mauro-Biello
Hes nothing but a thug.. Not really going to ever be that good of a player.... Now come on, he has to do what's best for the team. It's so easily to vilify a player who isn't playing for your team.

thefooligan5
I dislike him. I think we're all conditioned to dislike him simply because he plays for the opposition but having seen what this kid did in the high pressure memorial cup tourny in Vancouver a few years back convinced me that he is going to be a long-time NHL staple for some team if not the Bruins. leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Oh boy do I dislike him, too. With that said, I do respect him... and honestly... I would love him on OUR team instead of the opposition. Especially Boston! I predict Lucic contributes to a great rivalry between our two teams for years and years. Which, in my opinion, could never be a bad thing. We just have to make sure we come out on top more often than not. Go Komisarek!

He didnt get great goal. He got a BEGIN type goal, charge the net keep your stick on the ice.. If Begin is a Great player, then Lucic is a great player. Kubby31
The guy's a beast. I 'd be willing to bet that we all would like to have a beast of Milan Lucic on our team, what about it,eh?

Lucic is not going to be an iginla like goal scorer. He is going to be a power-forward and let us not forgot that he is what, in his second NHL season? I can't remember how often he played last season. The fact remains he is already a darn good player and he is only going to get better.

Feel free to hate him, but he's an awesome player and one I'd take on our team in a second.

franck5890
Feel free to hate him, but he's an awesome player and one I'd take on our team in a second. As would any GM in the league. This kid has already drawn comparisons to Cam Neely in just the way he plays the game. I don't think he'll be as prolific of a scorer, but the sheer intensity and love for the game that this kid brings is very fun to watch.
Glory_Days
You'd have to be pretty stupid to not want him on your team. This guy is a warrior and knows how to play hockey. A 50 point scorer, a ''disturber'', a fighter on occasion all blended into one guy? I'd take that type of player any day of the week. When we play him, I obviously ''dislike'' him, especially when he charges after Komisarek, but that type of player is pretty rare. Had we drafted him and had he come on the team playing like he is now, there is NO WAY anyone dislikes this guy. all the hate is coming from what he's done against us in the playoffs and when he faught Komi. Glory_Days
He scored another scrappy goal, go to the net with your stick on the ice and tap in a rebound WTV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImThGykbeu4 (check the 15 second mark) It's a 2 on 1. When you're on a 2 on 1 and don't have the puck, what are suppose to do? You put your stick on the ice and wait for a pass. That is far from being a garbage goal!
