pitbull12
Is this Ward's first game back since his injury? Carolina is a desperate team right now so they will come out strong, gotta match that effort and score more than 1 goal.

BigBADHabs
I think AK27 needs to use a time machine and go back to last year and watch himself put pucks in the net. We need a goal scorer that we can depend on. I don't see us loosing 3 in a row but anything is possible Tuesday is a long wait after such a disappointing loss on Saturday, I think it was the first time I threw my remote at the TV, good thing I was drunk and missed
FirstStar
I was hoping that Ward wouldn't be back, but after our loss to a goalie in his 1st ever NHL game I doubt it would've made a difference. It almost seems that when the Habs have a edge, ie: bottom dweller, injured team, tired team-back to back games, etc... They sit back and throw it away. Maybe it's in the best interest of the habs, if the management keeps these snippets of information under wraps. I know, in today's day and age it's almost impossible to keep that information secret. Maybe instead of saying something like, "this team's in last place and they came in from Nashville at 3am, you have no excuse not to win this game...", try something that'll scare them into shape, "This team might be bottom of the pack, but they're a hard working team and they're looking for a way out of last place, let's work hard out there and keep em in last, we're slowly creeping up on the Rangers, a loss tonight against a bottom dweller won't get us respect, go out there and play like a team battling for 1st.". Maybe I'm wrong as well, I'm getting really discouraged with this team. Carbo did tell the boys to watch out for Vinny and St Louis, the team did the opposite, they let them walk right through and get breakaways when WE had the man advantage! Maybe it's time for a big change, trade someone away, anyone. Take Lats and trade him for anyone, doesn't matter who. It'll show the boys that we want to win, even if it means doing it with a whole new roster. Simple message, shape up or you're shipping out. Gawd forbid, don't trade em away to a cup contender, that'll just send the wrong message. Halak should have another good game, he had a few weak goals creep in, but he's getting stronger and stronger out there. The team needs this win if we don't want to find ourselves in 8th. While we lose, the team around us are winning, sending us lower and lower in the standings.
Kravchenko
I'll just be happy if we score 3 or more goals and get a power play goal.
keithman
straight up, Habs have to win the next 4 in a row. Or at the least, go 3-0-1. Why? We need momentum going into the Xmas break, and this team needs to get it together cause the second part of the season only increases in intensity. Twenty-Two
I'm going to be at this game! I'll be sitting a few rows from the ice, and I even made a nifty poster: In English: Kovy, score a goal for us! Us as in my friend and I. I also should be meeting the team before the game, which I am reeeeally excited about... although half the team is injured. I can't wait! GO HABS GO! imdocrob
I don't know about anyone else but I just don't find myself getting excited to watch what is put out on the ice now. I used to be sooo excited for each game thinking we were going to be competitive with anyone. Now it seems the only way I can watch a game now is by FF through the TiVo recording. It would be really nice to sit down and be able to watch a whole game because we have been competative in it. We need change and we need it now. I see pretty much no effort out there anymore other than from a few D men and our 4th line forwards. By the way I think O'BYRNE has had his last chance and needs to be tossed out like the trash his game is.

Best whip one up in Russian, or at least English. Great Thread, Tessin. I love when they're posted a early, helps with the anticipation. Absolutely must win game. I've been able to see so many more games than usual of late (though I won't see this one) that it's been frustrating to watch. So many "shoes" need to drop: - PP needs to start generating positive stats - Kovy needs to get the monkey off his back - Kostitsyn's need a taste of success - Dags is in a slump - Team needs a win -- for morale and for the points GO HABS GO! I admit,i too have found myself becoming frustrated & discouraged as of late, but love"m or hate"m,these are our habs. I'm finding it hard quite frankly to get hyped-up for a habs game as of late, but unlike some of our habs players,i refuse to quit on our team. I'm gonna still hang in there,( But man, they are sure trying my patience here, lol) Go habs Goooooooooooooooooo

Flying_Lion
Brisebye has almost as may goals as kovalev. Now that's a stat, had you warned me in the beginning of the year, I would never have believed. Still, as much as I want Kovy to start riddling the back of the net, I'm not too concerned with who's pulling the trigger these days so much as that it fires up the red light. GO HABS GO!
