mtl1010
So I made this thread for people who needs advice for playing an instrument or taking care of one or whatever. And I'll be first to ask. I play the trumpet but I havn't played for a year or so. And now, I can't play the high notes anymore. Also when I play a lower note, I can't play the high notes right after that. The song I'm trying to play is "We wish you a merry Christmas" and I know it's easy but I can't do it for some reason. So can anyone give me advice??? I think that it may be my mouth in the wrong position but i dunno, so help???
Chunwah
To get back into the groove after not playing for a year or so, I'd suggest playing scales, both major and minor. Start with the C major scale and the relative minor which is A. Or you can do all the major, and then the minors. Practicing your scales really helps in your playing.
