Glory_Days
I'm guessing not many people have opened up thir gifts yet, but I'll go ahead and start the topic anyways! So, let us know what you guys/gals got for Christmas or just let us know when you open up your gifts! I'll be opening them up tonight, so I'll be back later Technically I can say I got a new cell phone and new plan, since I'm not paying and we went to Fido earlier this week! gracie12
I got my gift back in November - getting my pool table set up. I brought my slate pool table with me from Calgary last year but its taken until this year to find someone in the area who will set it up for a reasonable price ($200) as opposed to the $450 most places around here charge. Only played about 100 games on it since then Otherwise I dont think im getting much - im pretty sure i saw a maurice richard figure for my stocking... tmash
I open my gifts tonight as well. My parents did it since we were kids to help keep time to see all the family. We'd go to one side of grandparents on Christmas Eve, open the gifts from them, then come home and open gifts from our parents; then Christmas Day we'd have some stuff in our stockings in the morning (from our parents) and then we went over to my other grandparent's house to exchange presents with and meet the other side of the family on Christmas morning. Well, time has passed, me and my sister are now adults, my grandparents have all passed away, but it's a tradition we keep: open presents on Christmas Eve and have some smaller items in stockings Christmas Day. Not sure what I got. I can tell one thing is a spindle of DVDs from the wrapping, and one thing is a book (Montreal Canadiens I believe: I saw the receipt by accident). I asked for some scuba diving accessories, but I'm not sure how easy they would have been to find in town.

Twenty-Two
I don't celebrate Christmas, but my friends who do and I exchange gifts. I gave each of my friends a scarf knit by my mother (she's excellent at it, and they are so adorable!) and in return one friend bought me a shirt I wanted at the mall, and a nice stack of hockey cards:) nothing crazy, but fun anyways. Johnny_rudeboy
The Christmas gift my wife and I both got this year was our 18 year old son who moved out all the way to Grande Prairie Alberta (mid November) finally landing a full time job which guarantees him 40-50 hours a week. It is tough work outdoors but if he can hack it then he will be able to do anything.

bailey1
The Montreal Canadiens 10 best games DVD set. Yes! *Fist pump* I've watched the 1996 "Last game of The Forum." I only watched the ceremony part because I've never seen it in it's entirety. Such a beautiful ceremony. Probably the most exciting part of that DVD, for me atleast, was when "Boom Boom" came onto the ice. A great man he was. And it would have been so nice if he had been present for his jersey retirement because like all the players, he would have apperciated it soo much. Can't wait to share, Create an account at http://www.Photobucket.com and upload your photos to the website. If you're unsure how to get them onto your computer there should be instructions that came with your camera, that is if it's digital. Generally, you'll just have to plug a USB cable into your computer that goes with your camera. After you've uploaded the pictures to Photobucket you'll receive a link to each photo, that is what you post here.
