I'm expecting a tight game ...

Let's not forget...Pittsburg lost against Tampa a few days ago. That doesn't mean we have to play softly against them, though.

Every team has its ups and downs. Let's just hope the Penguins are in one of their downs.

... and we start into one of our ups.

:P

Should be a good one tonight.

We traditionally play the Peguinos pretty good, and they seem to be in a mini scoring slump, having tallied only one goal in their past two contests (although they've only allowed two against).

Bet the Canadiens and the under.

GO HABS GO!

Any word on our official lines??

I cannot find. But the habsinsideout.com has some interesting information about A.Kostitsyn, S.Kostitsyn, Chips, Patches, and BGL. According to HIO they have sent BGL back to Montreal and placed him on IRL until his groin is better. Andrei Kostitsyn is back in the lineup. Chips and Patches probably will not play as the missed the skate this morning. And Sergei will be on the 4th line plus PP and PK.

My guesses for the lines based on the HIO write-up

Tanguay - Lang - Dags

A.Kostitsyn - Pleks - Kovalev

Latendresse - Lapierre - Kostopolous

Begin - Maxwell - S.Kostitsyn

I sort of agree if the above are true lines. I don't think Sergei plays well with Lapierre and Latendresse so why put him on their line. Sergei has been good on the PK and PP so why not use him in those roles plus some 4th line minutes. Maxwell is a good player although I would rather have Chips replace him assuming he is ready after his own groin injury keeping him out of some games in Hamilton. I think that Sergei played good with Pleks when his brother was injuried. However his brother plays good with Pleks and Kovalev so the line is re-created. The Lang line has been our most dangerous line so breaking up this line would be a bad move. I think that when Koivu comes back that Sergei will be placed on his line. The third member of the line could be one of several players.

i would like to put Laps down on the third with Maxwell & S. kosti & put Chips in on the third line or

Lats-Chips-S. Kosti

Laps-Maxwell-Kosto

would be interesteing either way
