Flunky
Didn't Montreal just call up Denis yesterday, or was that my New Year's hangover playing tricks on me? Anyhow......GO DOGS GO!
miklin
Denis up with the Habs, Desjardins hurt so Cincy goalie Loic Lacasse will start with ex Dog, current Dundas Real McCoy, goalie Mike Minard signed to a PTO to back up Lacasse. (Minard was a Dog in the Edmonton days). Funny how an injury in Mtl ripples through Hamilton, Cincinatti and now little old Dundas.

bailey1
So if to say Mike Minard wasn't available, would the Dogs have just gone for "random-guy-on-the-street" or even better...A LUCKY FAN!
Antonio20066
If I recall correctly, a few years ago, the Hamilton Bulldogs equipment manager had to dress as the backup goalie in exactly this situation.
Flunky
It's gonna be a pretty motley crew rounding out the Dogs line-up tonight, and not just in nets. With Maxwell and O'Byrne heading down and Denis, Weber, Chips and Patches going up, the Copps Coliseum announcer had better have his roster notes updated. In addition to the changes noted above, Montreal has also promoted defenseman Frederic St.Denis from the Cincy Cyclones to the Bulldogs. Fast Freddy had 13 points in 15 games for the 'Clones so far this year, after signing as a FA this off-season.
Bumblebee_mtl
Wow Beauregard had two goals! Sounds like it was an electric game. I only caught the end of it. Right before the line brawl at the end. Lacasse won his first AHL game too. Shakey start, better finish. Special teams are working great too.
