RicochetII
That's kind of funny. I was just wondering when/if/ever Gainey's son would crack into the organization. I'm actually surprised it took this long. Should be an easy thing to do when your father is the boss. (That is a joke, I'm not suggesting favoritism)

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
If my father was the boss of the Montreal Canadiens you can be sure I would expect to be in the organization, too. And I am a horribly under-sized player at 5'11" - 140 lb, who gets knocked over on skates with even the lightest breeze.
hockey_gal89
good for him!! do you think Bob had anything to do with this? Naw-I imagine Trevor timmins walked up to Bob one day and said: "Hey Bob you should take a look at this Steve Gainey kid...ever hear of him?" S-Bah
My thought is extremely insulting,so I give you this in my 54years, usually like father like son. This is not always the case, normally when one person is as prolific as Bob Gainey, unless his son was an axe-murderer,and chasing me I'd look the other way. From every move Bob has made, I would expect more from Steve Gainey and I am sure he would fight with his Father to have the chance to play here. My thought diamond in the rough.
