My GF is a leafs fan and I am a Habs fan so we made a bet that when ever they play the "looser" has to wear the winning teams jersey into work. It realy sucks for me cause the jersey that she has is a pink leafs one. I am not that small of a guy so I fill it out nicely.

:lol::lol:

Pink jerseys! What a novel idea. I think once a team is mathematically out of playoff contention they should have to wear pink coloured jerseys.

Or when a team goes more than 40 years without a cup ....

Or when a team misses the playoffs more than 3 years in a row ....

Either way, hopefully the Habs send the Laffs packing, bruised black and blue ....

GO HABS GO!

FOCUS is the key word tonight. You cant take anybody ( even the Laughs) for granted in this league. If we dont come prepared to play then were done. The Leafs are comming off a couple terrible outings and should be pumped comming into the Bell after being berated by coaches and media for the last few days. They should be up for one of their best outings of the year, and we need to take that motivation head on and crush it early. Goaltending could be key early on. Lets hope whoever is in net for us tonight is on fire. ;)

Coach Guy Carbonneau is unsure whether he will go with Marc Denis for Thursday's game against Toronto. - TSN

Potential Lines

Forwards:

Pacioretty - Plekanec - Kovalev

A. Kostitsyn - Lang - S. Kostitsyn

Latendresse - Lapierre - Kostopoulos

Begin - Chipchura - D'Agostini

Defence:

Markov - Komisarek

Hamrlik - Gorges

Bouillon - Brisebois

Goaltender:

TBA (Halak/Denis)

After his performance last night Halak should play again, oh, and let Weber play!...Halak had a great game last night and his confidence should be there. I love the fact we are still winning with all these injuries...go habs go!

Jason

PS> Is this on CBC tonight...or just RDS?

That is what I have been saying, the Laffs should be wearing the pink jerseys on the road at least!!! I did by her a customized silver leafs jersey for christmas (that was not fun even tho I bought it over the net) and she will not let me wear that one.

As long as the Habs dont go back to playing at the opponets level they shall walk away with a win!

But I cant watch this game tonight, working afternoons.

Last night Lang scored all three goals when Kovy was on the ice. I don't know why those two can't play together on the same line and Plekanec could be centering the Kostitsyn brothers.

I also think they play well together. I believe they were broken up because Carbs wanted to split up the two vets and put them with youngsters. Especially with all the injuries to vetern players like Koivu, Tanguay, and Higgens. I think he also was hoping Kovy would jumpstart Plekanecs. When the team gets healthy we very well might see Lang and Kovy back together again.

I wonder if young Kostisyn still remembers the grabovski stunt he pulled last game..

I don't think Carbo will have to remind anyone that played the leafs that night, and, the players despite the injuries will show up and distinguish themselves classily as always.

I can't see Denis starting, not after Halak's play last night. It would be nice for Halak to get some more work tonight and gain more confidence. He'll be a key player for us this year, even when Carey comes back. We need a confident Halak backing up Price the rest of the way.

I totally agree with you on this on, GHC.

With halak's last game's not looking the best of performance, and after last night's better game i thought he had,i also say let's let him gain the confidence,it looks like carbo feels the same.

Here's to halak tonight, but here's also to PRICE on a speedy return.

GO HABSSSSS :P

i think it might be a good opportunity to put Weber in for Breezer. Breezer made alot of errors last night. might be time to give him a little rest
God, I couldn't agree more. Glaring errors three games in a row now. This team is not going to keep bailing him out (most noticeably him being on 'D) by scoring 5 + goals each night. Sit him, give him a rest and play the kid. If not, send him back to the Dogs - he'll be more used there playing.
