I was a big wrestling fan back to the "Attitude era", not so much now. Last time I watched a WWE show was last july I think and Triple H was the Raw Champion and Batista was the Smackdown champion (might be wrong on that one).

When I stopped watching, Edge and Chris Jericho were my 2 favorite wrestlers and I hated John Cena!

I really miss the days of The Rock, Stone Cold, Mankind, the real Undertaker, the masked Kane, The first DX and..................THE MONDAY NIGHT WAR!!!!!!

All the wrestling fans I know say they liked more wrestling when there was The Rock, DX, Stone Cold... Now, in wrestling, there is a lot of talking and not enough action!

Now, the World Heavyweight Champion is John Cena (Your favorite wrestler! :P ) and the WWE champion is Jeff Hardy.

That is exactly what I was saying whan I stopped watching, too much talking.....

I'll try to watch RAW tomorrow night to see if it as change a bit.

In my first post I forgot to say that one of the best rivalry that I have seen was Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs HBK Shawn Micheals. Their match at WrestleMania 12 (Iron man match) was one of the best of all time. This story ended at Survivos Series 1997 in the famous Montreal Screwjob.....

Well, I predict there's going to be a lot of talking on Raw because Mr McMahon is coming back and it's his daughter that is in charge of RAW (long story...).

Yeah, I heard about the famous Montreal Screwjob it's just that I was too young (6 years old) when it happened so I don't really remember it. McMahon and Micheals got hated for a lot of years by the fans for that.

I still watch it too, I was just saying that before there was less talking. It's entertaining, no wonder it's called World Wrestling Enterntainment. I like Randy Orton as a wrestler but I don't lreally ike his attitude.

Havent watched it in years. Not since the first 20 min was all yack yack yack, then a match, then 20 more min of yack, then a match you knew was going to have interference, then more yapping. And now they have 2 world championships and all sorts or junk. Its just crazy. The 80's and 90's was more hokey, but it was entertaining. Once ECW and WCW folded, the business all went down hill

I love the WWE. I hate TNA.

Two things I'd like mention:

1. I dont like John Cena now but I liked him when he was a free styling "heel". Now he's become a childfriendly super good guy thats extremly predictable and annoying to watch. He's become so child friendly that his finsher isn't called the FU anymore. <_<

2. I HATE Jeff Hardy. I hate him with a passion. I peronally believe that he's the worst champion and wrestler in the history of the WWE and the only reason he's champion is because parents of children who watch smackdown beleive he's "child friendly".

Unfortunatley Hardy is anytthing but child friendly. He's been fired on two seperate occasions for cocaine use and refused to go to rehab. Kid friendly? Nope. The man cannot wrestle a technical match to save his life. His matches consist of him being thrown around the ring and schooled by a far superior "wrestler" (in a technical sense of the word), then running up the turn buckle and jumping off it to win the match. Many wrestlers can't fight but they make up for it on the mic...not Hardy. He has some of the worst mic skills of our generation, rivaled only by the mic skills of one Dave Batista (who I won't mention now because i dont have time). I don't understand the allure of Jeff Hardy and I never will. I don't understand why kids fawn over this glorified trampoline artist when real wrestlers like Edge, Shelton Benjamin and Chris Jericho are hated by everyone, not because of their on screen personalities, bue because "they're boring".

Hardy Nation can eat my shorts, cause The Rated R superstar will take his title once and for all this Sunday @ the Royal Rumble.

Wow , you REALLY hate Jeff Hardy, I can understand why. Kids don't like guys like Chris Jericho, Edge and Shelton Benjamin because of their attitude. I also like certain hated wrestlers like Randy Orton and John Morrison because of their wrestling style, not because of their attitude.

I remember in the early 90's, I was a HUGE Ultimate Warrior fan! I was 7 years old at the time and I remember jumping around when his music started (in my mind, the best music entrance ever!). Too bad the guy was such a jerk.....

I have the WWE DVD: The self destruction of the Ultimate Warrior. It's very interesting. We see that the Warrior was not a very popular guy backstage to say the least!

Could not resist;

Ultimate Warrior was like the Road Warriors. The music started pumping, the guys came down to the ring and kicked some butt and were done in about 45 seconds. Miss those days. The Ricky Steamboat matches were cool too. Now its all junk. If I watch it now, its to see the newest "Diva" (aka some model who thinks they can be kicked around the ring and c**k-tease the audience)

Yeah, just like his match vs the Honky Tonk Man at Summerslam. I think it was exactly 45 seconds

well actually, it's 50 seconds from the time his music start and the three count!

That was Summerslam '88. I Think that the comeback you are reffering to was in 1996. The Warrior faced a young HHH in a quick match at WrestleMania 12, the match lasted a long 1:36 minutes! After that, he went to WCW as "The Warrior" form the One Warrior Nation and performed in one of the worst matches in wrestling history against Hollywood Hogan at Halloween Havoc 1998.
