Telly_39_s_1
We should probably stop these blind passes and long passes out of the defensive zone, just seem to be turning everything over tonight.
77bourque77
We are unlucky not to be up by 3 or 4 goals. Brodeur is going to have a tough time getting his starting job back with this Clemenson guy playing like this ... no he wont lol

SteenIsThaFuture
You know what I mean! I really don't, I've rarely watched any team that consistently puts in effort for a full 60 minutes.
Bourne
You know I for one am getting annoyed with us "out chancing" our opponents, specifically down feeders or the trap lovers because when all is set and done. It is the one who puts those chances in the net. Now hopefully we can rebound and sneak closer to Boston in the standings.

SuperHabsFan
I think you need to take off those bleak and bleary glasses you have on. "Inches away from being up three or more"? What? The breakway goal was the only genuine scoring opportunity the devils had that period. Meanwhile the habs had at least 3 good chances on their PP combined with the Sergei getting stoned by Clemmensen while he was splayed out on the ice and Kostopolous fanning on a perfect set up in front of the net among others. We're being outshot but we definitely out-chanced the devils that period. Don't get me wrong, I expect a loss because we are playing the devils but by no means are the habs playing as poorly as a number of you think. I am not sure which game you are watching, but the habs were dominated this period. They are playing poor defensily, gave the puck way so many times and looked lost. Yes, we had a few good chance to score, but other than that we need to play way better if we expect to win.
CareyPrice31
Anyone else get really annoyed at the "Portez le flambeau" (carry the torch) RBC commercials? They play them soo often.

FirstStar
Well, the devils came out strong just like every one expected. It's nice to see Koivu's number 11 back in the line up. Not a terrible period, Price is sharper than I expected him to be after such a long break. The break-a-way goal was a lil weak, but still very impressed at how strong he looks. Plex looked much better than last night, a nice pass to Kovalev, too bad Kovy couldn't find the 5 hole. Was a hard pass to pick up but Kovy got it. I suspect Plex had a talking to after last nights game. Lats had a few good moments as well, he actually looks good with Kosto and laps. The devils are playing strong, Shannahan looks surprisingly good as well, I think the devils lucked out when you consider what they signed Shanny for compared to what the nucks payed for Sundin. I feel good about this game, if we keep up this pace we have a very good chance of winning this game (*KNOCK ON WOOD*).

And I'm also tired of the habs not being able to gobble up rebounds in front of the opposition's net. We would be scoring much more if could successfully get our sticks on the second or third chances. We only had 2 hits that period? Ouch. That is pretty bad for us. Agreed, discipline in outlet passes against the Devils is a nessecarity (sp) becouse they control the neutralzone like few teams can muster. It isnt pretty but man are they good at it. Patience and discipline is the key right now, dont let them get another becouse if they do...it will be hard. Still the Habs have find a way through on more then the occasional ocation so dont give up just yet

4beforeorr
We gotta stop these No Look Passes through the middle. 3 times in the last minute and a half right to the stick of a Devil player. Once in the offensive zone and twice trying to get out of our zone. Gotta clean thigs up. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!

Problem is, we don't have enough big players to play in the slot. Lats should just stay in front of the net, as good as the 2 Kos Bros are, they're not that difficult to move. Same for Patches, he's not a small guy, he should wait for Koivu's pass or rebound and jump on it. Anyone questioning Koivu's place on this habs team, should look at his line. There's a reason they paired Koivu up with the 2 young guns. His experience on and off the ice is gold.
