RicochetII
Thanks for the compliments on the thread everybody. Took a bit of extra work because of image resizing and restrictions in the post. Hopefully, the extra work part rubs off on the team. I am 1-0 this year after taking a last minute thread that no one had signed up for in November. (3-2 shootout win against St. Louis) Still waiting to see the lineups tomorrow. I'll post them when they appear if noone else has done so yet. I found it interesting that nobody was called up yet, so I'm crossing my fingers for someone making a return tomorrow night. The Lang update came through. He had surgery and is gone for the season. I'm assuming that's public knowledge by now though. You'll be missed Lang. Maybe next year, if you have another one in you. Best of recoveries!
Flying_Lion
Apologies to any who take offense by the "bandwagon" comment. It was only in reference to being alluded to as one by those that have issues with fans that aren't blind and point to shortcomings in the Team's play. Great news for Langer, though I'm sure he's about as happy being sidelined as we are about losing him for the season. He's a welcome addition to the Team and it looked like he enjoyed wearing the bleu-blanc-et-rouge, if not in the same style as yesterday. I hear Tanguay's still a couple of more weeks away from being cleared. That's too bad. Then we have lost all our off-season acquisitions (or is Laraque back to skate against his former teammates?) and must rely on that depth we've been going on about. Elements that will determine outcome, IMO: - Kovi's response to his shortened ice time in yesterday's 3rd - Carb's line combinations - The Kostitsyns, especially Andrei though both have seemed pretty quiet of late - disciplined play - defense: we're up against the top 2 scorers in the league Play to your potential. Play for 60 minutes. Play smart and play with passion. The rest should take care of itself. GO HABS GO!
RicochetII
Looks like Gonchar won't be returning tomorrow night as the Penguins recalled forward Luca Caputi Monday. That brings their roster to 23 players for the time being and nobody else has been placed on IR.

Kubby31
I'm as die hard a Habs fan as they come - I have a room here in my home in dedication for my beloved Habs. I am never a bandwagon fan but if being critical of their lack of effort, heart and passion defines bandwagon, I guess I'm one, I suppose. I hope we'll see a collective effort Tuesday evening and some punch from the bunch. GO HABS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! typo Heyyyyyyyyyyy, you wrote word for word what i was gonna say Well, just wanted to same i agree & same here.Gohabsgoooooooooooooooooooooooooo On another note habsgal,i also have a didicated room(habs shrine) posted some pics of it in the "What did you get for christmas" topic recently. 4beforeorr
Hopefully some luck is on our side tonite, garbage goals, what have you, just keep throwing it at the net. Their goaltending hasn't been great lately. Gotta try to get 10 or more shots ON NET per period and we should get at least a couple. This ain't gotta be pretty, just gotta have the result. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!

MTL
We must win this game ... From now on every game is a critical game if we want to make these playoffs. I hope the team realizes that they will need to give their 200% if they want to win games and our key players will need to step up. The situation we are currently facing is a huge challenge but i think we have what it needs to surpass it. 3-1 MTL is my prediction. HABS ... you know what too do !!!!! Lynch_mtl
Prediction: Komi hits Malkin so hard he breaks something, and gets injured for the rest of the season, taking him out of the scoring race. Crosby being angry will start a fight with Patches, and before the fight has even begun, Crosby will start hitting Patches and will continue his terrible fighting techniques. Crosby will then be booed everytime he steps foot in Montreal. Your move Crosby, your move.
tombiosis
We will see what our team is made of tonight...I hope the optomists on this forum are correct, but I am doubtful. I was at the game Sunday and the effort was not up to par. does anyone know if Lats is playing? To me, the collision didn't look bad live, but on TV it looks like he was sliding faster than what I saw at the Bell centre. Maybe the pyjamas affected my judgement...
