To be honest, I'd rather focus on the games this week. It's been a horrible few weeks, the trip west might be just what this team needs.
habsfanfla
So here is my question, after listening to Carey's post game interview and hearing how down he sounds, if the Canadiens come up with a good team effort and win at Calgary Monday night with a good game from Halak, will that inspire Carey or make him feel worse. It sounds like his current slump is really getting to him.

It sounds like his current slump is really getting to him. I hope that coming out west will help the whole team get it together, they have the talent. Price will get to visit with family while he's out here, I can't wait to see him perform in front of them against Luongo and Sundin. This roadtrip could be the cure-all the Habs need, I'm sure the Lapierre- Kostitsyn- Pacioretty line will have Mike Keenan salivating. At the least it promises to be an exciting week of hockey ahead. SteenIsThaFuture
Calgary is a on 4 game losing streak, they will be on top of their game 4-2 Flames Wheres the logic in that, they've been sucking so they'll be great, but the Habs have been sucking so they'll keep sucking? Flying_Lion
Good call shifting the focus towards the next game. I'd love to erase my memories of it. I don't know what to make of this one. Last time we played the Flames, we were on home ice and riding a pretty good streak. It's the exact opposite this time around. Goals were scored by Lang (2), Tanguay, and D'agostini and we've only got one of those three on the ice tomorrow. On the other hand, Halak stopped 32 of 33 last time and is back in net tomorrow, but I'm a little concerned about his illness and how much he's recovered. And we're also catching the Flames on a nasty skid. This one could go either way. I think the Flames are going to come out flying and hammering, try to get the first goal like all our teams have been able to do. Goaltending will be crucial, as will our defense. I'd love to see the D from that 1st period game against Buffalo, except for the entire game. So many variables, hard to say which one will come into play. The injuries will probably figure hard into it but the Team's shown the ability to rise above those things before, just not recently. It's gut check time. No other way to say it. GO HABS GO! King-Carey-31
I don't understand why carbo took halak out when he was hot, I mean, yeah i get price is our "#1" and I love price but you don't just rip a hot hand out of the nets like that. Price is obviously shaken, and definitely not stirred, so it's time to bring in Halak.

RicochetII
I'm caught somewhere between getting psyched about this game and not watching it. If I watch, I'm a sadist. If I don't, I'm a pessimist. I can't win! (Kind of like the Habs ) I want to see at least some change. If we're going to beat our heads against a wall, at least choose a different wall or a different headbutting technique.
