Guest Steckle Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Im got bored and saw this top ten list on rds so thought i would start this topic sorry if theres something already like this I was just wondering what everyones top tens in basically anything nhl related are, some im thinking of right now are: Top Ten Captains of All Time Top Ten Coaches of All Time Top Ten Centers of All Time Top Ten LW of All Time Top Ten RW of All Time Top Ten GM's of All Time Top Ten Habs of All Time Top Ten Current Players ect............... Guest Steckle Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Figure id start out with my top ten list of all time habs plus quick blurb why i picked them then do other lists after awhile 1: Maurice Richard- not much second guessing here he was the Rocket nuff said 2: Jean Beliveau - amazing player,amazing leader,all out classy guy 3: Howie Morenz - first true nhl superstar babe ruth of hockey 4: Guy Lafleur - Leading hab point getter all time 5: Bernie Geoffrion - second player to 50 goals in one season, basically invented the slapshot 6: Jaques Plante - crucial to 5 stanley cup streak, changed the way goaltenders players, inovator of goalie mask 7: Doug Harvey- arguably one of the greatest defensman of all time 8: Patrick Roy - just about single handly one 2 stanley cups for the habs 9: Larry Robinson - great defensman with career+/- of 730, top point getter for all Habs defensman 10: Ken Dryden - dominated the 70's with perhaps the best teams off all time in front of him Very tough list to make especially considering the missing greats such as Henri Richard, Bob Gainey, Yvan Cournoyer, Dickie Moore, Newsy Lalonde, Bill Durnan,Steve Shutt, George Vezina ect .....
