SteenIsThaFuture
This team has a ridiculously easy schedule coming up down the stretch, I'll wait until the deadline to comment, but its very possible out of 42 points, to get something around 30. Easier said then done, right now we are that team that other teams look forward to playing for the easy win.

I'd say we're more of an average team than a terrible team, besides even if we were a terrible team, when two terrible teams plays each other, somebodys gotta win

Freddy-K
Looked over the remaining games, calculated the various possible variations, looked into my magic ball and this is what I saw= 12-7-2.

habsrule1
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Mr.Kovalev will tear it up the rest of the year and we will go 14-6-1(god I hope im right)
brysonom27
this next will be a real test...the do well vs the sens, canucks, flyers and sharks then I think that will start a great home stretch... but if they go 0-4 are 1-3 it could lead to big trouble
Flying_Lion
Since the lockout, Eastern teams have needed 92 points (05-06 & 06-07) or 94 points (last season) in order to avoid early tee times. Let's say 94 is what's needed to make the cut. If that's the case, the Team needs to pull out 27 points in 23 games. If we go to OT and lose just around 12% of the time (as has been the case so far this season) then we need a record along the lines of 12-8-3. Roughly. Someone better than I am with numbers can correct me on the math. That's what we need to do. What the Team will actually produce, I won't hazard a guess. These past few weeks have been brutal. Playing at about .580 will do the job but, as proven recently, that's not as easy as we think it should be.
Wayne-1
ummm, why hasn't anyone noticed that there are 23, not 21, games left for the Habs? edit: oops, I stand corrected, Flying Lion did notice... good for you
GreekHockeyCoach
ummm, why hasn't anyone noticed that there are 23, not 21, games left for the Habs? Maybe the guy that started the thread only wants you to start counting when there are only 21 games remaining. Edit: I just noticed that you noticed that Flying Lion noticed. There is no "easy" schedule for this team. I swear they play worse against low ranking teams.

gracie12
40. If this team plays the way they did the last 2 nights & you add an inspired, excited Kovalev, I think we will win almost every game. (of course I am a well-known optimist so what i say probably is quite far from reality. You may say Im a dreamer - but Im not the only one.) jean-1
I think they will go on a huge winning streak. I really do believe it. Peep this scenerio: We go on a 21-0-0 winning streek, go into the playoffs sweep the whole thing and win the CUP. THEN, all the other GM's complain because they think with Andre and Sergei having their mob connections fixed the whole thing. Ok,,,,,a little off I guess.... I do beleive a big winning streak is in our future though...
