1915-16 champion Canadiens

Ottawa:22-26-9 11th in east

10-16-4 on the road

141 scored

163 allowed

5-3-2 in their last 10

have lost 2 in a row

captain senator will not play due to an injury

Our boys:30-22-7 6th east

179 scored

181 allowed

2-7-1 last 10

3 game hapless streak

Not much left to say anymore really, there will be a great deal of difficulty for this team to make the playoffs in its current state. Kovalev returns and tanguay will be back next week maybe they can push us in but they cant solve our defense and goaltending problems. Needless to say against the senators this is a must 2pts

Well, at least we've got a game to look forward to....

oops. Do we look forward to games anymore?

I'm looking forward to seeing Kovy back. I hope it's a positive return and things start to turn around for him.

Given we're 23 games away from the end of the regular season, we HAVE to put the brakes on this free fall and turn things around.

GO HABS GO!

Anticipated lines for tomorrow

D'Agostini - Koivu - Higgins

Kovalev - Plekanec - A. Kostitsyn

Pacioretty - Chipchura - Laraque

Bégin- Lapierre - Kostopoulos - Stewart

No that fourth line is not an oversight, we do not know who is playing, however I hope to hell Kostopoulos is not centering. As for the rest... Andrei has a good game and is switched to right wing? Chipchura has been awful and Laraque is worthless yet both are rewarded? Carboaching at its finest ladies and gentlemen.

dude. i guarantee if this team didnt go through the massive injuries, w'ed be battling for first. people. carbo is working with what he's got. ron wilson is a great coach. he is dealing with a sub par team. he is losing. carbo has had at least one top line out this whole season it seems. he is still in contention for spot. GO HABS

There is no question the Habs have got to turn things around. But I agree Carbo is working with what the hands of fate gave him.

I still think we're heading in the right direction. I'm just wondering what's going to happen come trade deadline... I don't know if I should be excited or not...

As for tomorrow afternoon's game.

I'm anticipating a Habs win. But the way our goaltending has been I'm wondering if Carbo is going to go with Jaro, or Price. I hung up on the goaltending situation not the coaching situation.....

Any takers for who's going to get the nod in net .... ?
