sssfffs
http://habsinsideout.com/main/16062 Noon practice begins without Saku Koivu (home with the flu). No Francis Bouillon, out indefinitely with a groin injury. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?id=11009 Monday was Alex Tanguay's first full practice with the team. He will see the doctor on Tuesday and may even play against Vancouver if he gets clearance. Failing that, head coach Guy Carbonneau projects a potential return by Friday or Saturday. Also, Saku Koivu missed the morning skate with the flu. - TSN Jaroslav Halak will start in net tomorrow against the Canucks. - TSN TV : RDS Radio : CJAD , CKAC

Flying_Lion
Great Thread, Youppipwns! Nice work. This one will be a test, I'm sure. I think a victory is very possible, though, if the Team brings intensity and effort throughout the match. Kovy continuing his hot hand would be excellent and it would be great to see Tanguay back. I don't want to wish for too much, though. GO HABS GO!

With the Rangers getting a fresh face behind the bench and the 'Canes keeping up, every victory will go a long way. It'll do wonders for confidence, too. GO HABS GO! Briangbv
I have never seen a team suffer from the FLU more in my entire life. Year after year players missing game after game with the flu. It just seems you never read about other players missing games with the flu. Get that room fumigated or something! I just cannot believe how often this happens to our players. I hope Koivu fights through it because the habs need this win very very badly. Time will tell. You have 23 (or more) guys shaking hands and associating with who knows how many ppl, and this IS the flu season. there's bound to be some who will get it. I just hope (and pray) that it doesn't affect the whole team.
habsgal
Like most have stated; I too cannot get over the fact that we are the one team (only team it seems) to come down with that gosh darn flu bug. I want the doctors fired too, lol. This is a nice and very colorful GDT. Here's hoping for an all out effort. Bring your best cuz this will be a test. Koivu's out apparently and a more realistic score is 3-2 Habs, although being the devil's advocate that I am (and because I like Vancouver and want Carbo gone) 4-2 Canucks.
