Multiple injuries?

Otherwise we would think that O'byrne, Bouillon, Dandenault, Brisebois should be able to replace one injuried player.

Also a little surprised that Henry or Weber were not called up first.

XXXX - Komi

Hammer - Brisebois

Gorges - YYYYY

So I would assume that Dandenault would play with Gorges. O'bryne would play with Komi. Bouillon should be close to game ready.

Janik has NHL experience. I can only guess his NHL experience and play in Hamilton gave Janik the edge over Henry and Weber.

I'm interested to see how he plays... obviously Gainey called him up because of his previous NHL experience - you don't want nervous kids in the lineup when you're fighting for a playoff spot.

Hopefully Janik can play a simple, solid game.

NHL experience aside I would have preferred it if the Habs had called up Shawn Belle.

If you check his stats, he was -3 last season in 61 games for the Lightning (worst team in the league).

Compare that to -15 in 50 games for D'Ags, and -7 in 54 games for Bouillon. He shouldn't do too badly (no worse than Schneider is defensively, anyway), though I hope he's only a temporary replacement.

Why are we dressing this guy instead of sliding Dandenault back to D and activating D'Agostini or AK46?

If the rumours are true and shneider + markov are out for thr remainder of the reg season..

then we will need someone to step up

Why not try against ottawa one of the 4 games remaining... When its not a MUST win..

makes sense,,,

I can answer the AK46 question.

He's the type of player (IMO) who come end season is ready to head back to Russia.

D'Ags should be dressing some how.
