Comments: Okay I was bored and had a spur of random insanity as I created this, the lines for the most part are the same as last game with the exception of Laraque, who is in. Tanguay as far as we know is a game by game decision and no word about if he will return tonight.

The noose around the neck in the Eastern standings tighten around the teams in danger of missing the playoffs now....they're all "must win" games....no room to put players in the line-up who just show up to collect a pay cheque now. No room to put in a goalie to have him gain his confidence back. No player is bigger than the team.

Halak is giving Montreal NHL level goaltending....winning about every 2 of 3 games he plays in as opposed to Price who only wins 1 of every 2 and in his last 10 games lets in a goal on about every 4 shots. The team still lacks trust in Halak's play when you see the low offensive shots on goal. The team is facing Philly whose won 6 & lost 6 against NE division clubs....so tonite's game is on the table & up for grabs. There's no looking back.

While the team is responding to the tight race in the East......they still have someone behind the bench who can't be trusted to do the right thing. The powerplay has recently clicked and has been the difference in the last couple of victories. Who knows what it will do tonite.

So long as Halak starts & finishes..... Montreal should win tonite.....3-1 or 4-2 and stay in the running for a playoff spot.

Interesting and fun GDT! LOL Thanks.............

Mike Richards and the Habs power play make me really, really nervous. I'll hope for the best.

This is the first game on the road since "the bomb". No better place to start than in Philadelphia. LOL I wish I could get to this game but just can't swing it.

GO HABS GO!

Ach! I just realized the game's on TSN and I've got pretty unalterable plans. I hate missing televised games. Oh well. Not much that can be done.

Nice GDT. I appreciated the humour after the day I had yesterday. Hopefully the day will end with a Habs victory to take the edge off a long week. GO HABS GO!

Tanguay has been setback to next week as was determined on tuesday

Lets hope for a win. That will put us 2 pts behind the flyers for 4th place

this has to be a win, if we loose this that will be all she wrote when it comes to 4th place

I'm going to end up missing most of this game due to a BBQ.. i mean seriously, a BBQ in the middle of winter?!?!?!
