honuhab
Congrats on your first goal in the bleu blanc et rouge. He has potential to be a strong role player doing all the little things that don't get noticed often but help win the game. His face off ability is also better than Chips and more consistent than Pleky or Lapierre.
Dnjscott
MMW, this man will keep it up. We can see already when a player is used to his potential how right it looks. I agree with Weep that this is the first sign we've seen of why we got him, but Flyer fans know the kind of game he brings to the table. Important acquisition, and good call, Bob. Congrats on your first goal as a Hab! Many more!!!
pitbull12
That was a great goal celebration from Metropolit. This guy is a worker, fits perfectly on this team.

The man can control the puck, is patient with it on the PK, and is overall pretty good, Very happy I agree. This was a great find. He has shown heart and emotion in the games he's played so far. He should be good on face-offs because he has the quickest hands I've ever seen on any player and that's saying a lot because I'm going back a lot of years.... gracie12
Crazy-good night for him, he was a beast killing penalty time and just made life miserable for the Oilers along the wall. This is the first game where I've really understood why Gainey picked him up. glen reminds me of a lot of good older defensive players. if you look at his career stats you'll see a guy who scored well/easily in the minors or europe (196pts in 164 games in the AHL, a PPG or better in both the Swedish and Finish elite leagues). In his early days in the NHL he was scoring quite well for a youngster (19pts in 30 games in his rookie year) and yet he never seemed to be able to improve on that. I think glen is a perfect example of a guy who has a lot of hockey sense/talent but just cant quite translate it into scoring at the NHL level. If that person can admit this, they usually turn into terrific defensive players - usually playing perfect positional hockey - look at Juneau or Bonk. If they cant admit it, they turn into alexander daigle.
QbGamer
I think the reasson why its harder for him @ the nhl level is because of Size. He looks like a midget out there when next to a 6'5 Defenseman knocking him off the puck

JoshGorgesFan
I was a bit nervous when we signed him, but I see why we would pick him up. He's not the biggest guy out there either, but he definitely is a gritty player, and pretty good centre. I'm likin him so far. Congrats on the goal last game by the way Glen! Lynch_mtl
Anybody think that..."Subway" might be a good nickname for Metropolit....???? Ew, gross. Subway. Whenever he'd score, the announcer would "IT'S SUBWAY. EAT FRESH." or "HE MISSED THE SUBWAY BY A FEW SECONDS" or "WHAT'S THAT BARRELING AT YOU DOWN THE TRACKS? IT'S THE SUBWAY."
