AK-1
whether if it's Halak or Price, the team will have to score goals if they want to win. (oh really?)
leafsbaby08
heres my standpoint... as long as the current coach is behind the bench, the team is a shoe-in for a loss every game from here on in.
4beforeorr
Quite the GDT! I've got some color blindness so it's a bit difficult to read but i can make it out enough. Nice job! Strap your helmets on boy's. I can't see Begin easing off with the body checks just because he had a Habs jersey on a couple weeks ago. It will be interesting to watch. We can win this, We MUST win this game GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!
habskw
Nice, an Acid-trip based gameday thread GO HABBOTS GO! I love it. The colours man, the colours. Good job. Closest thing I have to a psychadelic drug is some 100 proof Finnish vodka, but it'll do. I plan on being at least half-way across the Atlantic before the game starts. Which means starting around 3pm EDT (don't forget to change the clocks).

WindsorHab-10
We knew the team quit playing for Carbo a long time ago and it's more obvious the last 2 games losing to a Buffalo team minus their star goalie while making Lalime look like Jacques Plante and the other bigger proof is losing Friday night to a team with the worst home record in the league. If we are to salvage the season and may be make the playoffs, Gainey needs to dump the jokers behind the bench otherwise we could be looking at 10th place after tomorrow night's game. I have ZERO confidence in this team.

If we are to salvage the season and may be make the playoffs, Gainey needs to dump the jokers behind the bench otherwise we could be looking at 10th place after tomorrow night's game. I have ZERO confidence in this team. Ya know, there was a time in my youth (I grew up in Windsor btw) when I eagerly anticipated watching the Habs on a Saturday night. There was an expectation that we'd win. We all knew that once in a while, things would go awry, and the CH would lose. It would be a shock almost, a surprise. But we also knew that there was a Bowman behind the bench that would chew someone's derriere off, or make some equivalent adjustment, and all would be right with the world again. And in the most extreme cases, when we desperately needed a PP goal, or make something happen, Robinson would get moved up to fwd for a shift or two, and the ensuing chaos would doom the opponent. Flash forward about 30+ years, and it's all I can do to keep from putting a paper bag over my head and praying that we a) keep from scoring on our own net b ) manage to actually outshoot an opponent c) see a decent game from our goalies d) hit the target when we have an open net e) not have a cross ice pass intercepted f) not get scored on when on the PP g) not be investigated for ties to the mob ... and the list goes on. Truly, sadly, utterly and completely pathetic is where we are today.

ZetPaul
Marc-Antoine Godin on Cyberpresse reports from today's practice: (quickly translated from French) "If anyone's not feeling good, it's Jaroslav Halak. He's incapable of getting rid of that virus he's caught, and that really upsets him. I was feeling good at the beginning of practice, but I get tired quickly. said Halak, as he was removing his equipment." Meanwhile in the first section of the same article, he describes how Carey Price seems calmer and together-er than of late. My own 2 cents: Could that be the same virus everybody said BG should have given Kovalev?
ZetPaul
*And with my other post, I never ever intended to imply that Halak should be benched, no, no, no! Other trios: 3- Lapierre - Higgins - Kostopoulos 4- D'Agostini - Metropolit - Stewart Besides, RueFrontenac.com seems pretty certain that Carey Price will sit this next one, only with more confidence in his pockets.
