AK-1
So does that mean that D'Agostini can't go back?
Johnny_rudeboy
So does that mean that D'Agostini can't go back? That's exactly what it means AK. He cannot play for Hamilton in the playoffs if the Habs miss the playoffs or are eliminated early.

Too bad I was also hoping for Halak - since he doesn't seem to be too busy at the moment
Wayne-1
(also posted in the individual Habs Player threads) this is an interesting point I just discovered: on trade deadline day, Mar 04, Max Pacioretty and Gregory Stewart were demoted and recalled the same day... http://stats.theahl.com/hm/transactions.ph...&f_team_id= 03/04/2009 Greg Stewart (LW) Hamilton DEL Recalled from loan by Montreal (NHL) 03/04/2009 Greg Stewart (LW) Hamilton ADD Returned on loan from Montreal (NHL) 03/04/2009 Max Pacioretty (LW) Hamilton DEL Recalled from loan by Montreal (NHL) 03/04/2009 Max Pacioretty (LW) Hamilton ADD Returned on loan from Montreal (NHL) what I think the Habs did on the sly was demote them before the 3pm deadline, and then recalled them after the deadline... if that's what happened, the reason for doing so is since they technically were not on the NHL roster at the deadline -- they are now two of the four post-deadline recalls the team is allowed -- they are eligible to be loaned back to Hamilton before the Habs' season is over... very interesting...
