Man i was just watching some playoff games yesterday and now...and I was thinking of our HABS and how great it would of been if they were still hanging around playing.

I was anxious to watch every game and always looking forward for the next game, even here the atmosphere was pumpin, was in playoff mode, that was fun.

Now really thinking about it, it's been a while I haven't heard any news about them or what not. I really miss our HABS and it's gonna be a real long while before next season starts, 5 more months....man..

Do u guys or does any one of u feel this way, do u miss ur HABS?

I'm just excited for the disappointment that will be July 1st :P

Ha! Well-played, sir!

I too will await the rampant positive speculation up to July 1st followed by the abject sadness when we do our usual thing of striking out on quality free agents and ending up with a 45-year-old fourth-line center signed for $3 million for the next three years.

So I still have a chance at getting signed by the Habs. :P

You just made my day... I better start talking to my agent and start my summer workouts. :)

Of course I'm missing them!!!

The playoffs are never the same when your team is eliminated.

I don't get to jump off the couch when the guys score, get excited and I don't get to even watch a Habs game for another 5 months.....you bet I miss em!

Even if they were still playing losing hockey, at least I'd still get to be followwing the guys and take the heat with them (from buddies, haha).

So....

Can't wait till next season! It's gonna be interesting to see our team next year, what with all these UFA's!

As for the finals....I predicted Boston-Vancouver from the beginning, with Vancouver winning, and I think I'll stick with that prediction all the way through! Not really cheering for another team though. And only catching an odd playoff game here and there.

i'm going to answer this anyhow.

i'm building a sifter for the stable because the shavings are 1600 dollars per semi-truck full, and shavings take so long to break down that the pastures suffer. shavings have a lot of lignin which cause mushrooms to grow, too.

that being said i still wake up feeling guilty that i haven't done everything that i could to further this world-or farm-(the important thing is that with a horse it really doesn't matter which it is- its too much fun) and could use a helping hand from my favorite team, and i could do the cost breakdown for you, but i will just estimate that the habs right now are worth about $23.50 a week out of a cost of $495 a month. TO ME.

money isn't everything of course, but on a cost- not replacement- value- that's my estimate. your welcome. lol

Nope, the pain & suffering is over.

Watched all games allllll seasons, now that it's all over, can't wait till we see what up grades this teams does, and how this organization plans on better things next season.

I am still watching playoffs of course, but am looking forward to life after hockey. :D

Have plans coming up for summer,i do some camping for one,so i welcome the break from my habs.

Here's looking ahead to better times to come to our habs, until then, hope they all have a good summer themselves.

Until hockey seasons starts up again in 6 months, catch ya later habssssssssssssssssssssss.

No. I don't miss the train-wreck 2008-09 edition of the Habs at all. I'm looking forward to a summer of doing other things, recovering from this miserable season, and seeing what changes are in store for the CH in September.

I still miss them but I think what makes this season so heartbreaking is that this is NOT a train-wreck roster.

I mean honestly:

Koivu, Kovalev, Tanguay, Lang, Kostitsyn, Plekanec, Higgins, Kostitsyn, Lapierre, Latendresse

Markov, Komi, Hamrlik, Schneider, Gorges

Price, Halak

Plus a decent cast of role players & this team SHOULD still be playing.

We had injuries, then confidence issues, then coaching that compounded those issues, then more injuries, then confidence issues.

It was almost easier to see a Habs team with Koivu-Zednik-Bulis as our first line go out in 4 games.

147 days, 1 hour and 41 minutes left until our Habs are back!!! September 20th...first game of the 2009-2010 season...(albeit pre-season)...better than nothing!

Actually, the game is september 24th, no ? I did the countdown, and there's 150 days left :D And guess who's coming again... The Bruins... Of course... <_<

(After saying that, do I really need to say if I miss the Habs or not ? )

Maybe that is the issue , we are over esitmating the value of the players

Koivu, Kovalev , Lang are what 60 + point Players ; 70 to 80 in a career year

Pleks, Higgings , Kostitsyn ............what type of players are they , they surely aren't superstars

Lapierre and Lats .... eh ...nothing special

And the D , other than Markov , there's nothing speical there either
