musicalhab
totally want a canadian team to win VANCOUVER!! not including team canada! LOL I would like a canadian team to...ecept the canucks, I despise them and they are the only canadian team left! Its looking pretty good for them though, can't see anyone stopping them except maybe Detroit or Boston.

babinator77
Well, Chicago sure put Vancouver in there place on Saturday. What the heck was up with that? the canucks had like four guys go down with injuries during the game and the loss of salo took its toll. an under-appreciated rule in hockey: don't "upset" a star goalie 'cause they'll eat you alive in the next game. Vancouver turned in a good road game, including Luongo. What's with Dustin Byufglien (or however you spell it) trash talking Luongo with the score 3-1? Sure didn't help Chicago's cause. (i missed the question.) also hilarious!
Innis_Mor
Wow, refs making a schmozzle out of game 4. Last minute of play in the game, and they look the other way not once, but twice, 4 seconds apart, on obvious calls (high sticking and hooking (on a Hawk breakaway!!)) -- no calls against the Canucks. Pack them whistles away for OT now, I guess!! Disgraceful, really. Especially, the way the Canucks played the game (what 12, 14 shots on goal total?!?! )
musicalhab
Really excited to see how this series pans out. I see many reasons to believe in both teams. Vancouver is cupless, motivated over a bad string of events (Luc Bourdon, Pyatt's girlfriend) and have looked like a team on a mission the whole playoffs. However Chicago hasn't made the playoffs since 02 and there is every reason to think they can make up for those years lost and make a huge run! Winner of the next game wins this one, because I can't see either one of these teams beating one another twice in a row. Gonna be good! Have to say though.... GO HAWKS!! Innis_Mor
I'm hoping the Hawks win this series now. I couldn't stand having to watch anymore Canucks "on the road hockey". That was one of the more pathetically boring displays of hockey from Vancouver last night that I have ever witnessed from professionals. 14 shots on goal in regulation, most of them on dump-ins, and then threw one more on net in OT. They made it an absolute yawn-fest. If we want to really kill hockey in Phoenix, the NHL should schedule the Canucks to play there a few more times next season. Detroit vs. Chicago next series sound interesting to me. Canucks vs. any team doesn't.
leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Vancouver blew it big-time last night. It was eerily familiar to Montreal attempting to sit on an inadequate lead late in the game. Except Vancouver attmpted this for the entire frickin' game. Listen, I know they have Roberto Luongo in net, but you could see the frustration in his game when he let in the O/T goal. He was deep in the net, not fighting through the screen... If Vancouver had just mounted some (any) offense over the 2nd and 3rd periods things would have been different because Khabibulan isn't going to win the series for Chicago. I would be embarrassed to be a Canucks fan this morning.
DA_Champion
I thought Vancouver looked like the better team. Luongo is not performing up to his reputation. His GAA this series is like 4 or something.
Innis_Mor
Vancouver blew it big-time last night. And blew it even bigger last night, in game 5. Just imploded. A bunch of the dumbest penalties by some pretty unfocused players (Bieksa, Mitchell, Kesler (aka "Plekanecs")). Mitchell should have had one for slashing as well, on Byfuglien. LOL!! it was hilarious on the winning goal .... Byfuglien is doing his parking job in front of Luongo (man he's good at it) as the Hawks have another PP. Mitchell tomahawks Byfuglien's stick, but it's Mitchell's stick that breaks in two!! Hilarious!! Mitchell is staring down at his 2 foot piece of carbon fibre in his hand and then throws it away. Hawks come right at him and score from his side. Ref wasn't calling a penalty on Mitchell. Why does it matter who's stick disintegrates from a slash? Anyways, tough to see Canucks coming back from that game. Hawks should ride this one home, at home, in game 6. And that will be the end of the homer commentators for this season! fourtrax
So close to seeing Mats Sundin's ugly pinhead bounced from the playoffs. BOO-YA!
musicalhab
Yes, people are finally see how boring this team really is. The nucks were way to cockey I think after winning there first five games and it's coming back to bite them! I predicted winner of game 5 taking the series because I didn't see either team winning two in a row against each other....soooooo, LETS GO HAWKS!! leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Wow, Vancouver are choking big time. I cannot believe I actually considered cheering for this club after Montreal was eliminated. I just cannot believe how poor they are performing against a Chicago team being led by Patrick Kane. I'm not knocking Kane, but I am just shocked that a guy so small, and so young, can perform so well against experience. In my opinion, this series was lost for Vancouver when they decided to sit on that 1-goal lead in game 4. Having a chance to go up 3-1, and they put everything on Luongo instead of taking responsibility upon themselves as individuals to contribute, too. Oh well, Go Wings Go! musicalhab
Lovely! Wow, can't believe I picked this team to go far. They looked so solid, everything was going their way.... but...I guess the hawks were they're worst nightmare because they couldn't hold a lead against them and Luongo looked insanely human. This may have been the year for Vancouver to win it, the sedin's, a hot luongo and personal motivation from other trauma to them. They just choked real hard and this team has choked since day 1 of their existence.... and quite frankly Im happy to see them do it again! Now all the losers with Canucks flags can stop driving around like idiots pretending they've won something and they can stop insulting hab fans like myself!! GO CHI TOWN!!!
