RedLightRonan
The big Canadian boys with the desire to win look to be on their way to the Cup this year! /sarcasm The 'Dogs aren't exactly stocked with high-end offensive talent, and we'll need an offense-minded centre who has experience playing against men in case Pleks or [random UFA centre] go down with an injury. I'm not saying Johansson will be the next Zetterberg or Datsyuk, but the more prospects at center you have, the greater the likelihood of one of them being the next Zetterberg. No. Diminishing marginal returns. There are 4 center spots in Montreal, 4 in Hamilton, not that many offensive wingers to go around. Maxwell, Desharnais, and Johansson. Are there nine offensive wingers in Hamilton? Are we converting DD to wing? MJ? Do they all get 19 minutes a game and 1st unit PP like they should to develop properly? PatrickC
"We need some big Canadian boys with heart and desire to WIN WIN WIN." === Yes, we should be as big a team as Calgary, Washington, Tampa, or even Toronto. If only it was that easy.

j2c
I found this article about Johansson on La Presse, and it seems as if Detroit was once again interested in getting him back and bring to Detroit before we scooped him up. That's a good sign. The Wings wanted Johansson

That's a good sign. The Wings wanted Johansson thanks for that. it should keep his detractors quiet for about five minutes. We should make a habit of trying to swoop in and steal everyone Detroit wants to sign/resign. especially their drafting team.

That's a good sign. The Wings wanted Johansson Well Detroit did draft him in the 9th round in 2003. Decent prospect, 4th leading scorer for Farjestad playing just under 17 minutes a game. PatrickC
And in addition to a Zetterberg clone, I'd like to put in an order for another big player, like Maxime Talbot 5'11" 190 lbs. Two goals in the biggest game of the year ... so far.

Then I realized you just meant that Chipchura should be in Montreal.
