babinator77 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=280871 Weird move by the Avs. Hire a guy who couldnt do the job in the AHL. it's the latest fads amoung gms - to hire ahl guys who have developed their prospects and allow them to grow with a young team at the nhl level. seems like boudreau got everyone's mouth watering. farber ripped gainey for hiring martin by suggesting that this trend is the wave of the future (and works with the open game we see now). apparantly he hasn't watched the habs in thirteen years.
