DA_Champion
My contribution: Lucic-Malkin-Kovalchuk Lucic: 6"4 220 lbs shoots left Malkin: 6"3 195 lbs shoots left Kovalchuk: 6"1 225 lbs shoots right The oldest among them is 25 years old. Lucic creates a lot of space and can do a bit of everything else, Malkin and Kovalchuk might be the two best players in the world. Malkin is the playmaker, and Kovalchuk is the sniper. teststory
Crosby - Malkin - Ovechkin or Kovalchuk - Malkin - Ovechkin The Russian's are performing experiments with their children to grow them unaturally big and strong for hockey. j/k

teststory
For reasons unknown to me, Malkin and Ovechkin hate each other. It doesn't matter though because it says what is the best concievable line. I think that one of those lines would be the best concievable line. teststory
If they hate each other it might ruin chemistry, lead to hogging of the puck. Maybee, but who knows until it is done. If you want the best line you would put the best players on it. I don't think Lucic is a top 10 player in the NHL so he shouldn't even be in there. I believe the four best offensive players in the NHL are Ovechkin (1), Malkin (2), Crosby(3), Kovalchuk (4). Based on that I would form a line out of them. Kubby31
For reasons unknown to me, Malkin and Ovechkin hate each other. During the all-star game, this was brought up. Kovalchuk brought them together off ice,and got them to call a truce for the good of the game. To kiss & make up. It looked as if it worked. At least it appeared during the all-star events. Also,I believe their feud stated back in russia, apparently something along the lines that malkin pushed ovie's trainer or coach at one time. This is what set off ovie. jcammalleri
best line thinking offense alone is a no brainer to me: Ovechkin-Crosby-Malkin. But if you add chemistry and defensive play tot he equation: Ovechkin-Zetterberg-Getzlaf

tmash
How about, "Best line with a cap hit of under $15 million?" Datsyuk: 6.7 Zetterberg: 2.65 Malkin: 3.384 And I can even give them a dman: Beauchemin: 1.65 Of course my great line wouldn't be able to stay together past the end of this month since most those salaries will roughly triple, but it's still the 08-09 season, so I win! gracie12
If you don't care about the fact that I have a center playing wing, Malkin, Ovechkin and Datsyuk. I would second this line. I think id put Malkin at centre & Ovechkin & Datsyuk on the wings, but I could swap Malkin or Datsyuk depending upon the situation.

babinator77
this line is an astonishing! im affraid what would it looks like next year in vancouver. canada will have extremly hard time to get revenge for last two defeats in the world championship finals. best line in hockey for sure but...if getzlaf is your 4th line center and eric staal is moved to the wing because there's no room for him at center...you know your olympic team is pretty stacked. (remember, often canada's best players are still in the playoffs during the worlds) it'll just be a matter of finding a team based on chemistry (like the russians have done at the worlds) and not just piling on talent which is what happened at the last olympics. billy-piton
yeah, choosing canadian hockey team for the olympic is hard as choosing brasilian soccer team for the world cup finals but only a sight at the those three names sends shivers down my spine. and thats far from the end. there are also: datsyuk, semin, kovalev, zherdev, markov, gonchar, grebeshkov, morozov, frolov, radulov, kozlov, fedorov... i never liked russian ice hockey team but i think they currently have more talented team than all-mighty canada.
