The Score: Chris Pronger Traded To The Kings?

Vinney,maybe?

I think Vinny is ours...as per what he said when asked we are at the top of his list of teams. I know his NTC doesn't kick in until after but they will at least give him the respect of asking him where he wants to go after they promised he would retire in Tampa. That's when Vinny will probably say montreal is among the top on that list.

Second thought,maybe not.

Rumours had maybe tampa/kings might be in situation together, but now that I think about it,tampa would have wanted johnson,I would think, for starters.

that would have the most one sided trade in history. a top 5 pick and a great young blue liner for a vet all star, long term ouch for la

It made no sense to me even if you don't consider the future value. The present value wouldn't justify the deal, what has LA shown to prove they can make a contenders move. They have the potential core but lets see some production first bfore taking such a gamble.

So.....only a team that did well last year can try to contend THIS year?? ....teams at the bottom of the standings last year can't make a big trade/gamble?? That's sometimes how teams get better, taking a chance.
