One more less spot for one of our young guys?

Not a big deal, if true. If any of the young guys play their way on room will be made, we're not talking about long term deals here. I think this has more to do with Laraque's back injury, if true anyway.

This just means we don't HAVE TO play a kid who may or may not be ready.

Gainey isn't one to make room for young players with the exception of Price.

I tend to like Moen. He works hard, but he's a role player. I wouldn't mind just seeing him on our fourth line bumping some bodies around.

However it does mean we lose another young talent roster spot.

Exactly! That's my only problem with this. Who would we lose? Would we trade a player, or just have them sit in Hamilton or the press box? Hmm.

Why not? He deserves to up here on a regular basis, IMO. Young, tough scrapper, I like him.

He's ok, but he's incredibly low ceiling so it's not like we're hurting his blossoming star potential. He'll be around. Moen is a better defensive player than most people think, he's very tough and plays hard. Once you saw him play regularly you'd like him too. He played on that great defensive line that won a cup in Anaheim.

Looks like a guy who doesn't negotiate with a player before he drops the gloves. I never understood the whole fighters code BGL has. He didn't protect our players something he was paid to do, he was either scratched, injured or asked the guy if he wanted to go first just doesn't make sense to me. Looks like a guy with size and heart sign him up Bob!
