Rondalsf
LMAO! [sitting on the rocking chair with a microphone]: "Folks, we have a dandy going on here tonight, I tell ya. What a save by the goalie after the defenceman turned the puck over! Ohhhhhh, baby!" Don't forget he has to mention how much better the other team is playing then us. Do you ever notice he says that even more when the Habs are clearly the better team on the ice?

Or how the other team is really applying the pressure when they've been in the Habs end for all of 5 seconds.
Rondalsf
Or how the other team is really applying the pressure when they've been in the Habs end for all of 5 seconds. except he hasn't noticed the play was offside & the whistle already went. " They're just skating circles around Montreal tonight" What do you think Gary? "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" Glen? "Oh yeah this team came here to play & the Habs better wake up. SOON! Scoreboard says 3-0 Habs!

hwy19man
The RDS figure for game 1 had 1,655,000 for a grand total of 4,431,000 viewers. http://www.bbm.ca/_documents/top_30_tv_pro...que05102010.pdf Game two of the Habs-Flyers had an audience on the CBC of 2,638,000. Game four (which was on Saturday) with the stupid afternoon start (thanks to NBC) was lower than game two, it only had 2,135,000 viewers. The NHL should not have accepted NBC's request. A half million less viewers is not something to push aside and the CBC is obviously not happy with that. For RDS, the numbers will be out next week. Game four of the Blackhawks-Sharks series this past Sunday had 1,257,000 viewers on HNIC for another afternoon start. Different source for these TV statistics, http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/bruc...article1581581/ For the TV ratings, Zelkovich was on holidays during round three, Houston writes on an inconsistent basis and Dowbiggin's numbers are rare. The BBM site just released its ratings for the May 24 to 30 period and game five of the Habs-Flyers was in that and the previous week had game three. The site also had the RDS figures. Game three on Thursday, May 20 had 2,786,000 viewers, http://www.bbm.ca/_documents/top_30_...at05172010.pdf Take the average rating shown on the BBM site which is 2,204,000 and use simple math to calculate the game three total. All the other single game totals are in my quoted post. Game five Habs--Flyers on HNIC had 3,031,000 and RDS had 1,535,000. From games two to four, the RDS average was 1,683,000. http://www.bbm.ca/_documents/top_30_...at05242010.pdf CBC http://www.bbm.ca/_documents/top_30_...ue05172010.pdf RDS http://www.bbm.ca/_documents/top_30_...ue05242010.pdf RDS Stanley Cup Final ratings Game 1: 3,164,000 and RDS had 610,000 Game 2: 2,775,000 Game 3: 2,986,000 http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/stanleycup...bc-ratings.html http://thestar.blogs.com/sportsmedia/2010/...culations1.html http://thestar.blogs.com/sportsmedia/2010/...tv-cameras.html
