Telly_39_s_1
Sorry if there's already a topic/post on this. On page 39 of the most recent The Hockey News, there's an article about the Habs and their offseason. Here's an exert: Perhaps the sentiment was best summed up on the Canadiens website by a fan who goes by the name weepingminotaur: "Right now, I'm neither happy with nor disappointed in the new Canadiens," he or she wrote. "I'm sort of in between - mourning the past and missed opportunities, hoping things will work out but not particularly optimistic that they will and, paradoxically, energized by all the changes." THN reads this forum? Wow. In any case, congratulations, weep!

tmash
We're lucky he doesn't have too much of an ego, because now that he's a internationally published hockey commentator, I may just have to back out of any arguments with him Congrats anyways, kind of a cool thing to happen. An even more pressing note, why are they reading this forum for material?!! Probably to save some research time AND money ($$$). How to write a magazine article in 3 steps: 1. 357908_1475251331
weep: i emailed you a long time ago to tell you that i was using your idea to make a post without giving you credit. i was pretty upset about it, and i didn't want any ill will to fall my way. you answered very kindly and i appreciated it. i've always felt that you had the talent, i'm proud to know you still. fourtrax
Again, it's a testament to the quality of this board. Put it this way: I may be the first forum member to get quoted in a legitimate sports publication, but I doubt I'll be the last. We have a highly intelligent, articulate membership. I wouldn't be surprised to see other members getting their comments cherry-picked by the media in future.
