yves_on_habs
Damn they look great in the Habs uni Same here. Seriously, can't wait to see these guys play together. Gomez and Gionta know each other, I don't think it'll take to long for Cammalleri to build some chemistry. Gomez should be have a better cast around him then in NY... where he had a fading Naslund and Callahan.
CanadianMike
seeing Gionta wearing #21 already, hurt (I can't lie) He is a good guy and a classy man, so I am already over it. great video.
bikerbob7501
I dont think this as a line could work though, as has been speculated. Gionta needs to be with someone big to battle for the puck. Cammi and Gomez are a great fit though. This might have already been said, but I didn't read

pitbull12
Great video, nice to see some Canadiens' news. Cammy seems like a character guy who isn't afraid to speak his mind. Looking at the three of them makes me kinda laugh because they are small.
FirstStar
All the guys who showed up are north Americans, I'm figuring Spacek is on the other side of the Atlantic, we'll see him soon enough. I can see Cam, Gomez and Gionta on the ice together. But I wouldn't be surprised to see JM drop Cam to the 2nd line to get Pleks and AK46 going; that is if the 2nd line has troubles our of the gate. Should be an interesting season, I'm expecting Price to play better hockey now he has solid d-men he can count on. He has to, it's his 3rd season... Time to shine Carey. King-of-Kings95
i wouldnt put all three new comers on one line. I think that gomez and gionta need to be together because that is the main reason why gionta signed here, to play with gomez. they can add a. kostitsyn to the line. Cammalleri can join pleks and the other top six forward that gainey is looking for. If martin puts all three together the line would be very good but the thing is martin should be trying to balance the team out and have all 4 lines competitive that have the capability to play against the other teams top 2 lines. I think that by deviding the 3 into the 2 lines will make our top 2 lines more competitive and skilled.
risteenhuis
I think that Cammalleri, Gomez, and Gionta would be a very fast and dangerous line on the rush. However I think a bigger player like Moen, A.Kostitsyn, Patches, Latendresse, or Chips would do a better job of getting the puck out from the corners. Plus a bigger player would be able to protect the smaller forwards. My guess is that Gionta and Gomez will play together 99% of the time. The other member of the line will be Cammi on the PP, Cammi late in the game if we need a goal, Patches would play sometime on the top line, and I agree with a lot of fans that A.Kostitsyn could fit in really well with these players but I don't think he will be on their line. However I think that Moen will play with Gionta and Gomez as his speed is good and his style of play will give the smaller forwards room to do their magic. It does not matter if Moen gets 40 or more points. What matters is that Gomez and Gionta put up 75+ points each.
ozweego
When they first dawned the jerseys for the picture, I was like who's the "little" guy. I didn't realize Gionta was so small, he was tiny. At least he has big gear..

I don't think he'll be playing with Gomez and Gionta. Look for Moen on the 3rd line with Laps (both can dish out hits and play well defensively). As for the top line, I'd say Andrei Kostitsyn and Cammalleri are the only two viable choices right now. I'm sure if one of the younger wingers is on fire they'll be moved up for a few games. stout-king
Cammalleri was always a leader, he had an "A" very early on in his career with the Kings. For now he'd be my pick for next captain. The guy is calm, smart, handles media well, makes some jokes which is always good to cool off the pressure cooker in Montreal. But it's hard to tell when the players haven't skated together or played together yet.

They HAVE to play together at some point.

I would be very dissapointed to not see Cammalleri playing with Gomez and Gionta as the No. 1 line... unless another marquee top line player was added to the team to make another No.1 line (1A-1B), which at this point may be doubtful.
