Bear-Cove-Hab
With the swine flu scares, unfortunately, expect to see more flu outbreaks, not less. very ture. With all the added steps because of the H1N1 virus, I bet we're going to see a lot of players missing time, not because they can't power though tit , but because the team simplly won't allow them near the other players. We got a memo at work TELLING us to stay home if we have the flu, that we are not actually'good employees' if we figth through the flu and still go to work, we're just risking making other people sick. I have a feeling this is the same mentality many teams will take this year.

I thought I heard the announcers talking about prices skate cutting his foot a little.

MTL
From what we heard, its a cut above the skate. Painful but nothing to worry about IMO. I sure hope its only a cut.
Glory_Days
On the French side, a poster claims that Martin McGuire from CKAC said that Markov was hospitalised in TO for a severe cut and obviously is not travelling with the team... QbGamer
It looked like Price tried some UFC, ankle lock on his Markovs foot. Price, Markovs foot is not the puck, RELEASE
js2
Could be similar to what happened to Chris Neil last season when he got a skate to the back of the leg and ended up missing 15 games.
habs-24
if its a deep cut your gonna be looking at swelling and that could mean him missing a week or 10 days, hopefully not but thats the crap you run into

"Quick update from Toronto: Andrei Markov suffered a cut foot, slashed by the skate of goalie Carey Price on Toronto's third goal. He apparently didn't bus with his teammates to Buffalo, staying behind for examination and treatment.' http://www.habsinsideout.com/main/21909
