ColRouleBleu
How have we already have 3 injured guys in 2 games. Wow we are cursed ya, we're stuck with the centenial curse until dec 4, it should ease up after RDS guys said on l'antichambre that he's injury is to the ribs. it's too bad for metro because he had a good start of the season. hopefully it's not too serious because eventhough we're talking 4th line, he's a centre and we're not too stacked at the position. i dont think chipchura will ever amount to anything. Sad that you're saying this, because right now I think he (Chips) could help the team... given the opportunity. Metro is travelling with the team (could simply be bruised ribs... not fun, but not devastating either).

Manatee-X
Any update on our Metro??? I'm wondering this as well... I'm away from technology for the weekend and come back to find one of my favorite forwards out and that we're missing another D-man. The end of this centennial curse cannot come soon enough. Mauro-Biello
I hope he comes back soon, to me he definitely brings to the table more than Chipchura.
ColRouleBleu
How long is he out for? day to day, he made the trip. what determines if he plays or not his the level of pain. that injury occurred vs the laffs, he tried to play trough it vs buffalo but he said the pain was just unbearable so he left the game. personally, i think he'll be back on the ice saturday but that's just my gut feeling. sebchenier
I usually favor letting our young guys develop by playing in the NHL as much as possible but I gotta say that I'm anxious for Metropolit to come back and take Chipchura's job. Well, choosing a youngster over a veteran can make sense when the youngster is equal or mostly equal with the veteran. Chipchura is not remotely close to that. leafer4lifer1
Any update on Metro, TSN still says questionable for Saturday. How serious is the rib injury? Glen Metropolit skated on his own before the practice but it's doubtful he will be ready for Saturday's game in Edmonton: http://habsinsideout.com/main/22279 Edit: Sorry link doesn't work, for some reason the last few links i have posted haven't worked!
