mortwinkler
Never a fan. Though I remember his goal from the boards in the playoffs (can't remember the exact season), that beat the Leafs netminder and bumped them out of the playoffs when he played for Philly. Great goal. Kubby31
Best of luck JR! your personality will be missed in this league! For sure, loved his personality, wish the league had a few more like him.... Well, there's aways my main man Ovie ,but yes...I enjoyed watching Roenick...what a quack he was at times....and that dancing gig he always did...funny stuff. After 20yrs,sad to leave the game with no ring though. All the best to ya in your next venture...Mr.Show-stopper

Every ex-coach, ex-player, and their grandmother makes it onto TSN during the playoffs....

Same here he's a smart guy who isn't afraid to speak his mind. I loved when he spoke his mind when it came to league matters.
Mauro-Biello
Lol funny there were no naslund threads when he retired Anyways if he got a job as a broadcaster he'll be only the 2nd ex player who became a broadcaster that I like

Guest habs1952
I can't imagine how many young American kids Roenick, Lafontaine and Leetch have inspired to play the game of hockey. Best of luck JR!
Flunky
Perhaps with all the spare time he's going to have all of a sudden, maybe he can finally help Patrick Roy get those darn Cup rings out of his ears. See ya in the broadcast booth JR!
