I guess I have a different opinion on this guy. Watching him play he seems really slow and often out of place on the ice.

I agree. He's got good size, but he was slow from what I saw of him in a game and a half. And this is in the pre-season. The speed of the game is only going to pick up once we get into real games and I'm not sure he's shown anything yet that shows he's ready to make the jump.

Absolutely invisible out there tonight. I think I saw him completely give up on the puck when it was behind the Sabre's net and Moen was in a battle back there too. He just turned and skated backwards, instead of going for the puck and getting it.

Wasn't impressed myself actually. Looked very slow skating, as if he was he was skating off 20 pounds or something. Agreed on the lack of aggression.

Please send him back to the ahl.

Ya I'd have to agree.

I didn't think he was bad the first two periods honestly his size was a welcome addition on that line with Moen and Weber and they actually cycled the puck fairly well on a couple of shifts.

He blocked a shot as I recall to, minor and insignificant to the game? Yes of course, but it was nice to see something go right in that game.

He needs to work on his skating.

He certainly has the size, but it appeared as if he can't skate well enough to use it. While other large players, who can't skate generally play the wing ( and can go for big hits without worrying about positioning), as a center he has to be able to get back into position.

As an 'energy' line center, he needs to be able to add pop to his game. Playing a purely 'safe' game isn't enough. Else we would still have Tommy Pyatt kicking around.

worst i have ever seen wear a CH

He's not a very good hockey player yet. Certainly not good enough to be in the NHL. But the statement you made is still somewhat bold. I don't know how long you've been a Habs fan, but there have been a host of other awful players to don this jersey over the years who could definitely be in the discussion.

C'mon, he's not thaaaat bad. He's certainly not NHL level. I wonder if Brian Willsie is any better. He didnt look like much in the preseason. Enqvist isn't our problem, he's not the solution because the 4th line only plays 10 mins a game and doesnt play on the powerplay.

His defensive game is great, but the thing is, he doesn't bring much else to the table..for now anyways. I think he just needs a little time to adjust to the NHL's level of play.

The main thing he needs to improve are his faceoffs. As a defensive 4th liner, we need him to be winning more draws than he's losing. Overall this season, he's gone 16/43 (37.2%). He really needs to be around the 50% for him to be useful to the team. If he could somehow become a faceoff specialist, that would be huge for the team.

In 09-10 with Djurgardens, he scored 14 goals, 12 assists for 26 points. So we know he can bring a little offense. Can he be around the 10-10 mark would be good production for a 4th liner.

He's not a very physical guy, so I wouldn't expect that to change anytime. He'll never be that tough 4th line player many people want. But I think if we just give him a little time, he can develop into a good 4th liner. His defensive game is where it needs to be, just needs to improve faceoffs and bring a little offense. I believe in this guy!
