I don't know. One guy you missed out is Ryan Getzlaf. He gotta be in the mix. On defense, I want to see Mike Green on the team, and Phaneuf probably off the team. Luongo or Brodeur will be interesting.

I have Getzlaf on the 4th line. Interessting - Mike Green, well I also would like Green on the team, but with lots of other good defenders, Green will have to have really high point production next season as well as not many turnovers. You know, the #1 job for team Canada could be Luongo, Brodeur, Fleury, Ward or Mason, right now the starting job is up for grabs. Joe Thornton out of the discussion, why???, I know he only had 25 goals but he could actually do good as a 3rd line centerman. Maybe you're right, Phaneuf or Green could possibly be on the team, but not both of them, we have to see who has a better start in the next season. ashikhabib
Just because Gagne was sent home does not mean he won't make the team. Gagne won't make the team because he was sent home because of a bad groin injury and he can't skate. I think Cammy should of been invited, hes done a hell of alot more for his teams then ganger, who thinks the same? he was one of the top goal scorers last year You're right, Cammalleri had 39 goals, 43 assists and 82 points in 81 games, plus Cammalleri lives in Ontario! stbvoyageur
I already submitted my team back in May, but I would like to add a couple things. One if Luongo wins the starting job as goalie, I think Brodeur shouldn't make the team. Brodeur has been fading since his illustrious defense has left him, and I like Fleury and Ward more than Brodeur at this point. Brodeur did his job, now it's time to make way... My team would be pretty much the same except I think Heatley's prima donna antics will leave him walking the plank... Lecavalier-Crosby-St. Louis Nash-Getzlaf-Iginla E. Staal-Richards-Carter Morrow-Spezza/Toews-Doan w/ Derek Roy or Cleary as the 13th forward, PK specialist Phillips/Reghyr-Niedrmayer Bowmeester-Phaneuf Pronger-Weber Keith
ewraras
Since some of the decisions as to who does or does not make the team are based on a player's performance in the first half of the season, I'm going to reserve judgement for now - but I take no issue with any of the players listed thus far. But I find it interesting that in the discussion as to who wears the 'C' and 'A', nobody has voted for Shane Doan. He's been Captain Canada at the WHC for the past few years, I would think he's garnered a fair bit of respect from the other players in the league - surely he'd at least qualify as an Assistant? And there's been some discussion in the media that Crosby shouldn't be considered at all - not because he doesn't deserve it (obviously he does), but because he should be allowed to simply just go out and play and not worry about being a leader on the team. Heck even Price may be there! Actually, considering how is play fell apart after the last time he went to play somewhere other than league games, lets not let him go.
