Dental Inplants

Recommended Posts

As hockey players are famous for having missing teeth I'm asking if anyone on this board has ever had a dental inplant?

I'm missing one of my front teeth and currently wear a denture to replace it. The denture is somewhat bothersome and uncomfortable so I'm looking into getting a perminant dental implant.

If you have had this procedure done could you please share your experience such as the work involved, number of appointments, any pain, aftercare, cost ect.?

Any info would be appreciated.

My sister had two. I know it was painful & took some time, but i also know she said she'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Personally, I dont know. The idea of drilling directly into my jaw doesnt sit well with me. I know they're not using a tap & die set from canadian tire, but still, it seems so foreign. But then my imagination tends to run away with things.
