HabsFan2713
http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=289113#YourCallTop The Vancouver Canucks have added a lot of depth to their blueline in a short period of time. The team has acquired defencemen Christian Ehrhoff and Brad Lukowich from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for defenceman Daniel Rahimi and forward Patrick White. Vancouver also announced on Friday that they have inked veteran defenceman Mathieu Schneider to a contract. Sharks freeing up cap space? Do you think San Jose will be in any more trades before the season?

HabsFan2713
I'm interested in the contract Schnieder signed, can't find how long or how much. But i can't see it being more than a 1 year deal. Glad he found a new home though. Also according to nhlnumbers.com the Sharks now have 5.5 mil in cap space. mortwinkler
Us not signing Schnieder was a mistake IMO. I'm glad he was signed somewhere. I think he proved he was worthy of an NHL team.
RSD
listened to a radio interview on the bill waters show today with the nucks gm he said they'd been talking with schneider for a couple of months now...either way good for him if his shoulder gets back to 90-95% he's still got a killer shot from that blue line...vancouver got pretty deep on their blue line today... Which is a very reasonable contract if he manages to stay healthy and use that shot he showed us he still has..
