Larry-Launstein-Jr
I have a newbie asking on one of the music-related forums I frequent. I posted the Here's Hockey video there, and it got him thinking about hockey. I remember the old Peter Puck series which went a long way to explain the rules of the game in the mid-1970s, but I was looking to see if there was anything updated for today's NHL hockey. Are there any YouTube NHL rules videos or any DVDs he could get which will be a very simple guide for a total beginner? He's not looking to be a player, but is considering being a fan. DVRichard
The Hockey Canada website has several links which will help your newbie friend get a complete understanding of the rules of the game. It won't be as funny as the Slapshot post above... but it will make the game easier for him to understand.
