tomeeb
i dont think Muller would leave his home, he bleeds the CH Didn't he literally cry when he got traded, and beg (via interview) to be traded back? Either way I don't want to lose him now. I think he's a large part of why JM is getting it done this year (so far anyway). Also, he's simply GORGEOUS to look at! Have to agree. http://www.rds.ca/zv2/index.html?video=41554 ya he was candid, said we arent yet good enough to play in June and pretty much said we couldnt get to the net to create offense which is true but its fresh air to hear a coach say that
S-Bah
i dont think Muller would leave his home, he bleeds the CH I still remember Kirk and Saku upstairs in the box after Koivu was injured playing Carolina in the playoffs. It was the following year he came to be an Asst. coach and he bleeds the CH as you say. He most asuredly will be the coach in a couple of years with Guy Boucher as his Asst hopefully. Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who knows, maybe people will actually try to impress her and out-do everyone else! All while the other team admires her. It's a foolproof plan, I tell you! Kubby31
Just to add....though not confirmed.....another candidate for this position may be John McClain...who,according to Darren Dreger of TSN would be the favorite...................anyways,for whatever its worth. tomeeb
And on the heels of likely losing Boucher to Columbus, here's some more in the same vein, but regarding Muller this time. Wouldn't going to Hamilton be a demotion, since he's an assistant coach in the NHL? He's made it clear he wants to coach at the NHL level, so I think he'd be more likely to go to Tampa Bay. Can the Habs really afford to lose Boucher and Muller this summer? And if they do, who's going to quarterback JM's "system" with Muller gone? http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Eric-Engels...Muller/82/28661 Not liking any of this at all today. js2
Yes, it would be. Oh most definitley. Not really, as it would be gaining valuable head coaching experience at the pro level.
Rondalsf
Not really, as it would be gaining valuable head coaching experience at the pro level. That is true. I wonder if would consider it or wants to stay at the NHL level.
tmash
Yes, it would be. Oh most definitley. I disagree. I don't know which tends to pay more or be higher profile, but I'd generally consider it a lateral move. For example, I believe New Jersey's farm team's coach was an assistant in Jersey before but went to the minors to get head coaching experience. Kirk probably wants to be an NHL head-coach some day, but the one thing going against him is he doesn't have a lot of head coaching experience (he only had like 1 year at Queens, and despite CIS being high quality hockey, it lacks the high-profile sort of gig teams may look for. The problem with being an assistant coach is it focuses on one part of the team or specific tasks. It would really help Kirk to show he led the team, matched the lines, etc.
