js2
As soon as he's cleared to play he'll be put on waivers and sent down most likely.

He's Jacque Martins kind of player. And quite frankly, he could really help us on the PK.

It'd be nice but as soon as he's cleared we'll have 24 guys on the roster including 4 centers ahead of him.

After the final cuts... I count 14 forwards (including Chips) 7 defensemen and 2 goalies = 23 Who am I missing?

He will be the one sent down once he recovers from injury, not Chipchura.

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Shouldn't this be in the Habs Players section?
Mauro-Biello
Shouldn't this be in the Habs Players section? Of course not, the guy must be quite rusty. Keep him in Hamilton for now.

He's currently with Montreal. And he's probably going to get a game soon, given that Metropolit got hurt tonight.

Jeeze... if u thought we were out played the first 2 games... Just wait Metro's injury must be minor seeing that he will travel with the team... hoping that will be the case. But, that said, I still would like to see Chips get some action soon... one way or another

risteenhuis
I believe that Chips was part of the 23 man roster since the start of the season. With the injury to Metro his opportunity to play should happen on Tuesday. Metro will probably be back soon but if Chips plays good defensively I see no reason why he could not see action on the wing or at center.
HABFANDOG
it's not like he's a BAD player. i think Chips has alot of grind to his game & at least i know he'll give ya 120% every time he's out there. look for good things to come from him!!
