Canadiens Training Camp In Toronto (sept 28-30)

It's in Ontario but not in Toronto at all. Here's where they will train for those last few days of the camp: http://www.teenranch.on.ca In the past couple of years, they used to spend those days in Mont Tremblant. They decided otherwise this year. New team, new coach, new out of town retreat ;)

Hey guys.. new to the board!

Actually, Caledon is only 50 minutes or so from downtown toronto... it's basically on the edge of the north-western suburbs of the city limits...

And yes, since the opener is on the 1st they are gearing up in the T.O. probably to reduce the media frenzy I suppose

This Teen Ranch seems SO appropriate for grown men... Here are some excerpts from the website:

What to Bring

* Toiletries - Towels, shampoo, soap, brush/comb, toothbrush and toothpaste

* Clothing - ENOUGH FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. Also come prepared for WET, WARM and COOL weather. Bring a set of clothes that may get wrecked. MARK ALL CLOTHING WITH YOUR NAME!

Optional

* Camera

* In-Line Skates/Roller Blades - HELMET, KNEE & ELBOW PROTECTION ARE ENFORCED

* Dark/Camouflage clothing for night games

PLEASE NO RADIOS, MP3 PLAYERS, CELL PHONES or BICYCLES

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON ALL BELONGINGS

* We will be having a BBQ during this time for campers & family!

* Parents please arrive for our 9:00am ROUND-UP AND WELCOME on Saturday morning!

* Our hockey campers will be having a SCRIMMAGE. Check the Welcome Board for information!

Homesickness: In cases of extreme homesickness, we will contact the parent and notify them of the situation and allow them to decide on camper’s stay.

i wonder if they chose that place because of the size of our new forwards or because of pleki's insecurities B)
