leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Hey everyone! I couldn't find a Fantasy Hockey Thread, so I decided to make out. I thought people could post their teams, talk about sleeper picks, etc. etc. etc. I have a Yahoo Sports team going in a league called "The Non-Heatley Invitational." The league has 12 teams, so it was pretty tight when it came to the later rounds of the live draft. C - Pavel Datsyuk (DET) C - Travis Zajac (NJ) LW - Milan Lucic (BOS) LW - Brendan Morrow (DAL) RW - Bobby Ryan (ANH) RW - Brian Gionta (MTL) D - Dan Boyle (SJ) D - Duncan Keith (CHI) D - Braydon Coburn (PHI) D - Joni Pitkanen (CAR) G - Roberto Luongo (VAN) G - Carey Price (MTL) BN - Mikko Koivu (MIN) BN - David Perron (STL) BN - Bryan Little (ATL) BN - Johnny Oduya (NJ) BN - Derick Brassard (CLB) BN - Drew Doughty (LA) BN - Pascal Leclaire (OTT)
Glory_Days
That's a pretty solid team, especially when looking who's on your bench. Very good depth! On TSN's fantasy draft special last night, they had Perron as a huge sleeper and he should have a huge breakout year this year (according to Darren Pang, he'll score 30+...this year's Loui Eriksson). I have a draft tonight...I'll post my team when the draft is done. If anyone wants to join, we need more people! Draft is tonight at 9. Let me know if you want in, I'll send you the league ID and PW. MLSE_Mgmt_A_Disgrace
I was proposed the following trade. I would be receiving: Andrei Kostitysn (MTL) Jonas Hiller (ANH) For... Bryan Little (ATL) Pascal Leclere (OTT) What does everyone think? You'll probably not make off one way or the other, but I'd wait to see Andrei's performance tonight before making a big decision. Here's a bit of a tool for what TSN is predicting for this season. http://www.tsn.ca/fantasy_news/feature/?ID=11939

Glory_Days
I was proposed the following trade. I would be receiving: Andrei Kostitysn (MTL) Jonas Hiller (ANH) For... Bryan Little (ATL) Pascal Leclere (OTT) What does everyone think? I don't know if it's too late, but IIRC Hiller isn't even starting this year (he should steal JS Giguere's spot at some point). So IMO Leclaire over Hiller at this point (until Hiller starts) and I really like Bryan Little and this he can put up 60-70 points.. So I wouldn't do it at this point. Glory_Days
C- Getzlaf C- Gomez C- Mikko Koivu C- Datsyuk LW- Heatley LW- Burrows LW- Tuomo Ruutu RW- Boyes RW- Backes RW- Gionta W- Callahan W- Tkachuk D- Phaneuf D- Lidstrom D- Chara D- Markov D- Streit D- Ryan Suter BN- Laich IR- Kessel (he was still available in the 13th round, so I decided to pick him up) IR- Soon to move Markov (as soon as Yahoo puts him as IR eligible) G- Fleury G- Lundqvist G- Khabbibulin Rosters are huge for some reason and only 2 bench spots but I'm pretty happy with my draft. Edit: At one point, I just became a homer and picked Gionta et Gomez...after all, my team name is the Montreal Smurfs Edit 2: I just let go of Khabbibulin in favor of Price! bailey1
^^^^^ Markov was just put on the IR today. I added Keith Tkachuk to my roster.
Glory_Days
I added Michael Del Zotto by putting Markov on the IR (I needed another d-man and didn't have one on my bench). He's off to a good start and really like his offensive talent!
