Looking at it impartially I don't see how anyone could even argue that Habs line can complete with any of those teams. If we stacked it with our 3 best forwards it still wouldn't be as good as those lines.

My vote goes to Anaheim btw.

Jeez louise, would you look at some of those lines. Nik-Alex-Alex line in Washington is my pick, but the Anaheim line is scary good, as is the Sharks line. Thornton and Heatley? Yikes. Thank goodness we play in the east. Lordie.

Wouldn't the Pen's #1 center be Malkin, and not Crosby?

Agreed. I think that Cammy-Gomez-Gionta (which I fully expect to see as our #1 for at least 60+ games this year) may be the best line we've seen in this city for a while, but compared with the others on that list is well, a little crazy.

I believe that Malkin's line (whoever his wingers end up being) will be the best line in the nhl this year. San Jose & Anaheim make excellent cases as well. Grrrr. I still cant get over the fact that we were purportedly offered Getzlaf in a deal a couple of years ago.

Do Homer and Franzen even play together on the same line? I thought they were kept separate. Maybe not.

Still, I like Anaheim's line a lot. Getzlaf is a monster and is only getting better, Perry is steady, and Ryan is starting to hit his potential. Heatley-Thornton could be monstrous too if Heater finds his groove.
