Maurice2014 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Share Posted October 6, 2009 The Habs are over-defending to protect Carey Price. That's why they are getting out-shot all the time. If they had a goalie they didn't have to look over their shoulder with, they would go on the offensive more often, like they did with Huet, and like they do anytime Halak is in goal. They are compensating for Price's sieveness. If they left him alone and went on the attack Price would let four or five goals a night. And because they over-defend players, especially defencemen, get hurt. At this rate Montreal won't make the playoffs.
