MLSE_Mgmt_A_Disgrace
Nobody's signed up for the thread, I'll start one but have nothing special, you all provide the good insight anyways. Habs 3-5-0 with 6 points Islanders 1-3-3 with 5 points Both teams just came off a losing streak and are looking to keep winning (obviously). Who will come out on top? Big questions for tonight's game. Who's starting goalie? Will Bergeron play better tonight or is he still feeling that hit from Tuesday? Will Tavares make mince meat out of our goalies? Who will score first? Well, we just have to wait until tonight to find out. A couple of links to ponder about. http://www.nhl.com/ice/preview.htm?id=2009...avid=sb:preview http://habsinsideout.com/main/22823

MLSE_Mgmt_A_Disgrace
Probably be like most games, listed at a 7pm start, but really starts a 730pm. Just saw on twitter from Marc Antoine Godin of La Presse saying that Halak's in tonight. But not confirmed anywhere else yet.
Bear-Cove-Hab
anyone have any ideas about possible lines? I'd like to see Moen on the second line clearing traffic and picking up garbage in front of the net. The third line could be Laps-Lats-MaxPac. THey can dress Muller for all I care as long as they win! lol

Manatee-X
Apparently Lats left morning practice with lower body injury. Line 1: Smurfs Line 2: Pleks/AK46/Lapierre Line 3: Chips/Pacs/D'Ags Line 4: Moen/Metro/BGL Assuming Lats is gone, I really like those lines. I'm guessing Line 4 there will be playing more than Line 3 though, as I really think Moen/Metro/BGL could do a really good job of wearing down the other team without being a defensive liability (like Line 3 seems to be). sanman
Apparently Lats left morning practice with lower body injury. Line 1: Smurfs Line 2: Pleks/AK46/Lapierre Line 3: Chips/Pacs/D'Ags Line 4: Moen/Metro/BGL 2nd line is scary (liability wise) and takes away a centre who can win the faceoffs on the third line. Moen on the 4th line is a waste. Me thinks the lines won't stay the same at game time except for the Smurfs.

I'm sure Laps will be on the ice to take face-offs inside their zone then switch it up as they break out. If BGL is a scratch then I see Stewy in or maybe Lats isn't too injured. Would like to see Stewy back with something to prove. He's taken a step back this season and doesn't have the X-factor he showed last season. To me, I'm betting those three get more minutes than the nominal third line made up of the three rookies.
habsfan_10
Glad to see Metro back should be a good game from the Habs,,,,hope halak is in net but if it is Price i will still be cheering the habs cause that's what i do!!!! babinator77
i really don't see how laps has earned a promotion to the second line. if we're going that route i'd take moen.

To me, I'm betting those three get more minutes than the nominal third line made up of the three rookies. In addition to a waste it's very slow with BGL and Moen. Guillaume Latendresse started practice on Wednesday but left shortly into the session with a "lower body injury." Martin kept him out for maintenance but says he should not miss any game action. - TSN

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Awesome for Halak! As much as I wouldn't have minded seeing Price in net again tonight, Halak played very solid in his last outing. I hope he has a great game and helps is put a beatdown on the NYI. I'm also happy to see that Martin is willing to rotate his goaltenders. I believe Price is our number 1, but don't mind seeing Halak get some additional games, too!
